Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but in solar system view you cannot click on your book marks. Tried clearing cache to no effect. Also some PI structures are not visible - just the links between them.

Treat Meta keys as toggles. So if you are targeting by clicking, if you press and release the CTRL key, targeting will not happen when you click a target.

After jumping thru gates I see very fast low graphic definition flickering. Maybe that's what is causing the client crashes with some graphic cards.

Ghosting in the sense that the object remains on the overview even after you/it warps away. I do not use AA and am experiencing this problem intermittently.

This issue is not on the summary page at the beginning of the thread.
Issue: Unable to click on Bookmarks and sites (w-space) in the solar system map. Hovering over BM does not display the name assigned to the bookmark or site (w-space). You are still able to right click a bookmark or site and warp to it but you don't know which one you are warping to.

SERIOUS issues with the hotkeys, if I click to select something in the overview box (like a stargate, station, ship) AS SOON AS I hit the ctrl-key, my ship locks the target, and I can't find any way to disable this feature of the hotkey.
I want to be able to push down the ctrl-key and then click on targets I wish to lock, instead of automatically locking anything I have selected at the moment. Imagine a situation, you have your mods hot, ready to target anyone who comes at the gate, and you have the gate selected incase something too powerfull comes, so you can jump through. Something lands/comes through the gate, you hit ctrl, boom you've locked on to the gate and are shooting the gate and the guy got away.
The problem goes away, if after selecting something on the overview I click anywhere else, aside from the overview box and it also dooesn't happen if I select the object without using the overview. Either give the option to choose how the hotkeys work, or revert the hotkeys back to the way they were.

Either way i've been unable to play since this patch release.

Before the patch you could copy and paste linked names (characters, solar systems, corporations, etc.) from one chat window to another and it would retain the auto-link. Now you have to manually relink the chat. This also applies to ship fittings, which is kind of annoying to have to keep re-opening the saved fittings window, not to mention that we have a finite number of fittings we can save.
Was this an intended change in the patch (I did not see it documented) or is this still an outstanding bug??

Market window places the Applied filters message across the lower middle of the item selected's graphic which also bleeds over to the item's name.
IE "Filters are applied to the results" is under the graphic and under the item's name.
I'm getting sick of finding broken things CCP, there were plenty enough of those before you updated the UI code.

Yes, I've noticed the stickyness aswell, as in, having pressed CTRL, and then when I click on the next thing on overview it locks it, even if I've released CTRL, but my main point was, that if you have ANYTHING selected in your overview (as in, it has that white/grey background) and you haven't clicked outside the overview box, AS SOON AS you touch the CTRL key, you will lock on to that target.
As in, you click something on the overview box, lets say you undock from a station and then select the station from overview, as soon as you touch the CTRL key, you will lock the station as target.
And the same damn thing happens with ALT, if you have something selected on the overview (again, select it from the overview, don't click anywhere outside of the overview "box") you will IMMIDIATELY (as soon as you hit the ALT key) be looking at the "target".
So, instead of having these "hold down a key" + "mouse click" hotkeys, if you have something selected in the overview, you will instantly be targeting it/looking at it.

I think I might have the same problem.
I created a new portrait for this character on thursday morning. As you can see the background hasn't rendered properly. When I first created the portrait it was fine in game (chat, skills, etc), but after I flushed my cache and refreshed from the server I have black areas in the background.

not sure if this has been reported....but since the last major update (couple days ago) ive been having a bracket bug everytime i change sessions (jump through gate,dock,relog) all my brackets go into hidden mode even tho it says "show all brackets" setting it to "hide all brackets" then back to "show all brackets" fixes the problem till i have a session change again

Oooh. So many freezes and disconnects with this patch, the whole client will stall and then it will look like it has recovered but then it will bottom out and even sometimes my whole pc needs rebooting as it locks up. It totally fries everything. It also seems to do this every time i have just finished composing an important mail, coincidence? Damned frustrating.
I hope we can fix this. :( I hope they guys sorting this didn't have too much planned for the weekend :D

They don't work weekends...........just the on call guy that does the Sunday reboots for the node crashes.

This Patch*3 is much worser.
Patch 1 - we start to have trobles with client window, it's start to hang, freez on 30-60 seconds.
Patch 2 - client windows doesn't hang anymore, but FPS in different moments when you lock many targets - fall down to 2-3 on multiple accounts.
Patch 3 - FPS fall down to 2-3 on multiple accounts and now client windows is hang and freez on 50-60 secons and more.
What the hell you doing with engine?! This is not Carbone Need For Speed - this is trash! Return everything to 1.4 and let us play few weeks without any trash patch.
We don't need stupid shiny buttons and lens effects on capacitor and other idiotic idea from your amateur designers!!! We can play without it! But when client is hang and FPS fall down after patch from 50 to 3-5 - we can't play!
I run before last 2 patch 6 accounts at same time without problems, now I can run only 2 with our NEW IDIOTIC ENGINE !!!

Drawing planet installations is still wonky on some planets.
One of my character's planets has 2 installations that don't show, and my extractors on a particular planet cut the head graphics in half at a specific line running top to bottom of the planet, in one specific spot.
The structures seem to be on an incorrect "layer" or there's a part of the planet model thingamagig like it's in the wrong "layer". It's a pretty linear path and it seems to be fairly consistent in size the area it affects.

- T3s flying in reverse - Buttons sticking in space - Eliminating shift+enter in the chat window
And so on. Get your stuff together, you know its bad when I find time to ***** about it on the forums.

1. Log in to my account (works great!) 2. Select character (brilliant!) 3. Go have a beer while the game hangs on 'Entering Station' for 5-10 min 4. ????? 5. Profit!
There are some workarounds floating about which involve clearing the cache (which didn't help in my case), checking and unchecking 'resource cache enabled' at various stages of the process (which also doesn't seem to matter in my case)...
Oh yeah, and wiping my settings... that old chestnut.
Could someone from CCP just take a moment to let us know whether it's being worked out (and I can just suffer with 10min login times for a couple days) or whether I actually need to redo all of my settings.

@Rhys: it was introduced in patch #2. still exists in patch #3. i hope this doesnt make it into the new major revision, or we're all screwed. try doing a repair.exe, and refuse to install the updates (kinda moot point if youre doing PI, or the other stuff addressed in the client updates).
