After a couple of pages I don't really see anyone crying here, more like pointing and laughing, like the fat kids did to you in highschool locker-room showers.
I have to say, the build and climax of this reveal makes me want to fall asleep.. Still waiting on the real climax to happen, let me know via EVEMail, when I can re-open this thread for updates Brock..

You guys are harsh. Lando has already given us everything he had in post 47: He has made the greatest sacrifice of all and basically comitted MD seppuku. This should not be forgotten. Whereever he is now it is most certainly a better place.
Still hoping for a statement from knanid volatar. Poor guy. Whatever happens on MD knanid singlehandedly pays the bill for the most part. --

Originally by: thebarry Edited by: thebarry on 04/06/2011 21:12:31 For the record, I don't think he intended to scam from the beginning. I think after dealing with md tards for a while, and clicking his mouse like 2389473298472397234897329847198634 times, he started to consider it, and mentioned something about scamming to me, but I wasn't sure if he was joking or not. Regardless, I told Krythas, a in-game friend of mine, to sell his shares because Brock was unhappy with the clickfest and that "unhappy people do unhappy things". I never knew for sure that he would scam, but it doesn't surprise me.
The moral of the story is, if you want MD PRO TIPSÖ like 'sell your shares nub' then you need to be my internet space buddy
Inside trader anyone? i dont think krythas will appreciate his name mentioned here. anyone with any brains would put 2 and 2 together and make 3.
seeing as were laying things on the table, what pre-empted knanid voltar to begin selling his shares on the stock exchange? The real losers in this are the poor folks at bsac exchange who have baught into the exchange, this is why in game stock exchanges are flawed and what makes things artly easier for scammers.
anyone else wana confess to knowing block was gona scam and sold shares on bsac?:P

Edited by: Brock Nelson on 04/06/2011 22:48:56 Honestly, people isn't harsh at all. The fact that after all those years of scamming, the lessons seems to continue failing to register in both the minds of the vets and the newcomers who don't heed the warnings is what makes the investment game all the more amusing.
I merely took advantage of an opportunity to get some extra isk, just like alot of taking advantage of buying npc stock of pi material or moon goo speculation.

Lord Wickham, in barry's defense, the subject of me acamming came up in the alliance channel numerous times and like most people here...no one was sure if I was trolling or not.

A couple of lessons I learnt about PVP a long time ago are
1 - Don't fly anything you aren't prepared to lose 2 - Whenever you lose a ship, learn from the loss.
Both of which are specifically relevant to this situation.
GF Brock, and I do think I'll learn from it.
For the vultures, total loss - 5.4B
fake edit - I can't believe Lando emorage quit like that.

"Elites" prove once again to be the far more present threat when it comes to scamming.
Now, let's get back to "weeding out" the small-fry scammers, MD!

Yes, you're a master genius! Either that or you just got bored with the grind of what you'd committed to do, and figured it would be cathartic, in some way, to just take the money and run.
Either way, Scammer King has entered the building. Let's all give him a round of applause.

What is this? A scam or just quitting and taking his toys home? A few people said he was talking about how he didn't really want to do it anymore for a while because it was to boring and difficult. It's only Brock saying it was a scam all along.

Don't forget the lol smiley which kind of invalidates your point again.

I have no idea where everyone is getting the other story other than reading too much into barry's speculative post.

So, what does a scammer do after he's scammed ppl? Do you at least have any friends now to play the game with? Will you ever get the chance to scam again? What will you be doing till that time.
Seriously I'm curious scamming looks like such a boring thing to do, all you get from it is money (?)

Ya but in order to do that dont you need to have built a good "name" for your alts as well? I mean If i scam you today I cant just make an alt and start asking for money tomorrow, who the hell is gonna lend me?
Unless he 's been building a reputation for some of his other alts for a while now, which of course would honestly be the saddest thing I have ever seen in my MMO carreer ;p
PS:So I still cant see why one would rather be a scammer than an honest businessman, its **** easy to make money in Eve.
