Does anyone know if the data center agents that provide faction standing increases have been nerfed? I just turned in 20 Serpentis Diamond tags to the required agent and I only recieved a 1.3996 percent faction increase. Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't it be 4.6648 perent?
From the current standing increase that I received for the diamond tags, it waas less than the derived value for turning in 20 Serpentis Crystal tags

Guess it all depends on your current standing or rather, how high it was when you did it. Also I believe Social and Negotiation skills play a part in the amount of standing received.
As for the Data Center Agents being nerfed, well........only CCP knows for sure.

I guess I'll throw up a petition and see what happens. I'm sure they'll conclude: this is normal gameplay mechanics.

I won't swear to this, because I can't find a reference for it, but I'm pretty sure that standings gains are affected by how quickly a mission is run, just like other mission rewards. So having the tags in your hold already, and turning the mission in almost instantly, results in crushing the gains over time.
Of course, the release a couple of weeks ago did screw up standings gains for a while. You got comparatively huge gains for a couple of days, resulting in some toons going from L1 standings to L4 standings with multiple corps or even factions in a single day. When CCP fixed this, they could have accidentally nerfed standings gains from Data Center agents.
A petition is your best bet.

Yea, I had the tags in my cargo while accepting the mission. Plus it doesn't make sense that the standing gain received would be less than turning in the crystal tags.

Just having the tags isn't the issue. It's requesting the mission, then turning it in 10 seconds later. That crushes average completion time. And people will do it anyway, because finding the tags on your own once you've been given the mission is nearly impossible.
I wish I could find where I originally saw that standings gains are subject to the same leveling mechanisms that other mission rewards are...

Still though, I had the tags in my cargo when I turned in the Crystal Tags and I received a higher faction gain compared to the Diamond Tags, which are a higher quality.

If anything, I would expect less gain from an L4 Data Center agent than an L1 agent. Really high faction standings are supposed to be hard to achieve.
