Logan LaMort Gallente	Posted - 2011.06.04 02:26:00 - [36] With regards to Dust being obsolete in a few years, that might not be the case, it really depends on how good the game will be. For example Halo 2 multiplayer was still widely played until MS shut down it's xbox original live service a couple of years back, which was quite a few years after the xbox was replaced by the 360. The same will happen when the new consoles will come out in 2014/2015, there will still be an online service fully supporting current gen games quite a few years down the road. Whether or not Dust is popular enough to still be played by then, who knows. The attention span of gamers, on consoles or PC will always depend on the game. Besides, if it's such a huge hit all they have to do is make a Dust 2 on the next gen consoles.

Ok, maybe you COULD name a few console titles that would just about qualify, but I can name dozens more PC titles for each. So, in conclusion...
