IF a BS in EVE travel alone and it is only fitted to fight other BS. It ishould be ôdead meatö when catched by frigs or cruisers.
Heavy NOS do project a ôbeam of energyö that absorb energy from the target. This beam has to hit or not!?. The heavy NOS is a big modul (only BS) so it should have a bad traverse speed, like a heavy (BS ship only) weapon. The ôautohitö rule is overpowered but powergamers like it. If CCP want more mixed fleets, BS must get some tactical weakness for the grater good of the game. CCP dont here listen to the powergamer whiners.
I find this highly amusing. We should read the history books huh? Let me provide some history you failed to include. The plane that crippled the Bismark was carrying a Torpedo and landed a lucky shot that crippled the rudder (webber of old I suppose), but the plane left and more Battleships came in to finish the job. Please find me a place in history where small planes with GUNS took out a BS. It hasn't happened. So if you want to get historical on us, then let us include all the facts. I think Nanako is bang on. No way should a frig sized webber be able to slow down a BS with exponentially more mass and power. Nor should it's little puny scrambler be able to disrupt a giant BS's warp core. Let's ge realiztic and start giving sizes to scramblers and webbers, as well as assigning default warp core stengths to ships (i.e. BS would have larger strengths, thus taking many smaller scramblers or a BS with a BS-class scrambler to disrupt it's warp core). It seems logical, and this doesn't even address the honest point of frig size guns piercing BS class armor plating...it just doesn't jive.
