VETO: Summer Camp 2011
Ladies and Gentlemen,
This is the day you have been waiting for: August 12 to 14, 2011 VETO will be hosting our own version of summer camp in Nashville, Tennessee.
Why are we doing this? Well Veto corp has been a mainstay of piracy in New Eden for the last 5 years, and we have been known to have some of the most outrageous parties. Now we want to start extending this to more people in the US as interest in a VETO party has increased since last year.
The goal this year is to offer something more than just a night out; this time around we are working with CCP to come by and talk with us and join in the normal drinking and debauchery. We also want to make this party go to 11 with an evening of piracy and PVP through our own Piracy 101 LAN party where our FCs will drag you (or your alt) through low sec and 0.0 shooting everything until we can't stop laughing (most of the laughing will be done at Ryas trying to pronounce system names). No previous PVP experience is required, only the willingness to follow directions and shoot anything that moves. Network switches and cablea will be provided, computers, monitors and mice will not so plan on bringing yours as baggage. If you want to ship ahead, please contact us for more information.
How much does it cost? Ticket cost is $55 and there are 125 tickets available. This covers the entry fee to the conference, food and beverage during the LAN party, all networking and Internet service for the LAN party, and a Veto Summer Camp T-shirt. Hotel is additional and room prices are available on our website.

For those of you not familiar with Nashville, I'll give you a brief rundown.
Maxwell House Hotel:
Very nice place. Last time that I ate there (a few years ago), the restaurant was decent. They've got a pool and a lounge (i.e. alcohol). It is very close to downtown Nashville (and music row), which is where the good nightclubs are (i.e. packed with women). There are fast food restaurants within walking distance if you are on a budget.
The cons: The immediate area surrounding the hotel is...crappy. The neighborhood behind the hotel is of the low-income variety. But the proximity to downtown makes for a reasonably cheap cab fare, which I would encourage if you're going to be drinking.

F**k, I knew we were doing a meetup, but not a Veto party. You know I'm in! I may end up driving back and forth from Manchester depending on how pricey the hotel is.
EDIT: I'm in ADHC if you wanna add me to the list, and I'll share a hotel room if someone wants to cut costs.

This is why I was able to get such a good rate, the rest of the hotels downtown start at 125/n and just go up from there :( It also helps that the manager at the hotel knows of Eve and I think one of his kids plays.

I live 45 minutes away, I may have to head down for the pub crawl, just not sure how I would get home, Tn state troopers are every where here when you drink.
