EMFI û Claim Your Stake
What to do with EMFI? EMFI is mostly composed of BSAC, AATP, and BMBE shares. I believe remaining shares in the Fund are worthless. With AATP buyout in progress, it will make sense for the Exchange to take over EMFI and start some form of dividend payments.
Therefore, I strongly recommend EMFI shareholders to register their shares with the Exchange or risk missing out on future dividend payments.
Suggestions welcome!

hmm... i have shares....how do you register with the exchange...?
basically had them from a while back ...recently resubbed and had no clue they had any value.

Is the suggestion to start paying BSAC's dividends to EMFI directly to EMFI's shareholders? If so, I think that is an excellent idea and stands in stark contrast to Ray's attempt to disenfranchise EMFI's shareholders through his holding company dodge. I imagine the logistics might be a bit tricky but the goal is a worthy one. Is BMBE taking part in this or is it a solo BSAC project?

EMFI shares can be traded in the BSAC Exchange. To deposit shares you need an Exchange account. Please visit the BSAC Exchange for details.
Currently, BSAC pays dividends to EMFI's exchange account. Dividends will be paid out of EMFI's exchange account to registered shareholders. Last time I spoke with Ray and Tornsoul they agreed to some form of take over. Without EMFI's CEO it can be tricky to do the transfer, but I think is possible to complete.

The way in-game shares work is that only EMFIÆs CEO can issue dividends using the in-game share dividend feature. The CEO has been missing from quite some time now, and last time we spoke we considered transferring EMFI to the Exchange.
To receive dividends from the Exchange you must register your shares. If you do not register the shares you will missed any dividends issued from EMFIÆs Exchange account. Even if you register your shares, you will not miss any dividends issued via the in-game dividend feature.

Any eve player with an Exchange account. The Exchange uses an electronic stock ledger to register investors.

To register your shares, once you have an account, first email BSAC MMM with your intentions to deposit shares in the exchange. BSAC MMM will provide further instructions of when to send shares. DO NOT send any shares unless you are instructed to do so.
The shares will then be deposited in your Exchange account. You can trade the shares by visiting the EMFIÆs trade page and placing your sell/buy order using the EMFI order form.

So only those that register their shares are going to receive dividends, and those that don't are going to lose out? Or is their share of the pie going to be recorded some how and kept in a fund of some sort awaiting their return?
I agree that shooting people with a headache in the head is a good idea, because it will stop their headaches. |

It will be setup like the Capital Ship Fund (ticker BSAC), where I created a separate trusted account for the shares that have not been returned. The arrangement will assume the share distribution shown in the last EMFI public report; 9,645,288 outstanding shares. At some point (TBD*), the entire trusted account will be distributed to registered investors and unregistered shareholders will lose out.
* One year seems reasonable for people to register their shares.

Is TS willing to transfer ownership of the BMBE shares to this new fund?
Are you willing to do the same with BSA shares?

I would like to distribute the ISK to shareholders. Do you have an idea of how to do this distribution? OR are you suggesting I should do nothing about it?

There are only 84,000 EMFI shares registered in the Exchange. EMFI's BSAC investment is allready under my trust, and managed by Ghost Emperor. With him gone, I don't see any other solution to distribute the ISK other than have investors registered their shares.
If Ghost were to return, we could do a full share registration with the Exchange and people would not need to register independently, and noone will miss dividend payments. If he does not returns, I don't see how I could issue dividends other than to people that register their shares.
If I do nothing, about 30 B EMFI's ISK will remain in trust with me.

A FEW NOTES
ALL official in-game communications are done via BSAC MMM email.
I have 4 accounts and 12 characters. I use one character per pending share deposit to avoid any mix ups.
I can be found in the BSACPUBLIC in-game channel from 0100 to 0200 eve time.
