Awesome case, awesome guide, and it's T3 Minmatar! (Which means it'll hold together without duct tape. )

It's actually the optical drive behind that slot.

I can see the holes for the airflow, but can it move enough CFM to keep things cool? It looks like it would store some serious radiant heat over a long period of time.

The holes you see on the sides are actually covered. I just didn't see a point of filling them in with putty as they add extra texture.
The reason those holes are blocked is so the air is forced in over the drives as the front of the hot-swap bays have air inlets behind those blue handles. The airflow is pretty good considering the fan is running at the slowest speed (controlled by the motherboard) and it has yet to overheat. The inside of the case was completed 14 months ago and it has been running ever since, it's only the last month that I finally got around to finish the external bits.

I didnt follow the link before I wrote what I wrote. You did such an awesome paint job I honestly thought that was a pewter-cast case.

Its good mate but you need something to filter out your day more :p
Also, you sell casemods? or rather cases created from scratch?

To build this case I had to take a slight break from EVE actually. All the older cases were built before I started playing EVE.
As for selling cases, I have done that in the past. However the combination of a lot of hours needed and the fact I don't work for minimum wage means they become very expensive, very fast.

The airflow is just fine actually, these HDD trays are fully perforated at the front so all the cool air is forced across the drives.

Do you know how much cooling an Intel Atom CPU needs? It doesn't even have a fan on the stock heatsink.
It has been running 100% stable for 15 months already.
