it accepts my password, it collects all bulk data, but then it remains stuck at the log in screen.
help plz

Having the same problem too actually. All information is put into the log in and then it just hangs on "Authenticating" forever. Looking at the CCP Log Server after about 5 minutes the connection to the server appears to be "not accepted" and a particular entry after a little while is "ConnectToServer blew up big time".
I'd copy the report here but I'm not used to this Log Server thing yet :).

Same problem for me on Windows 7.
Log server says: Creating Closed Packet: Connection Timeout - The server did not respond to the client's secure-handshake request within a reasonable amount of time

Same here. Loads the authentication bar to 100% and just sits there staring at me.

Server is falling appart...
I noticed something was happening when I suddenly couldn't show info on other players. Then I switched ship from a harbinger to a catalyst, and noticed that the guns from the harbinger was sitting on the turret slots of the catalyst... opened ship fitting and there it said "Pierced Brosmen's Harbinger" and had the harby model still...
tried relogging and couldn't log back in.
Seems this build might not be very stable, server side.

Same here, I'm blaming the proxies.
It says Unable to connect to I.P. on Port number now, guess things are getting better/worse. |
