This weekend sees the beginning of the televised rounds of Alliance Tournament IX and, on top of the many matches we will be broadcasting during this time, we will also be running several competitions and giveaways on the EVE Forums, EVE Online Facebook and Twitter pages. Our friends at Logitech, EVGA, NVIDIA, Shattered Crystal, EON Magazine and Alienware have provided us with a laptop, video cards, GTCĘs, keyboards and much more and this is all up for grabs.
So how do you win?
There are a lot of ways to win so get comfortable and read all about it below!
Predict a winner
The following matches will have a ęPredict a WinnerĘ thread either in this forum section, on the EVE Online Facebook Page or the EVE Online Twitter page. To win, you simply need to respond in the appropriate forum section, Facebook feed or Tweet the winner of the match. Once the match has ended, CCP Navigator (thatĘs me) will do a random drawing and a winner will be announced. Could it be more simple than that? No, I donĘt think so! The matches that you can participate on this weekend are as follows:
Saturday, June 11
15:40 Perihelion Alliance vs. Vanguard Imperium to be in with a chance to win a GTC courtesy of Shattered Crystal. This will be held on the EVE Online Alliance Tournament Discussion forum.
16:20 Negative Ten vs. Against ALL Authorities to be in with a chance of winning a G-19 Keyboard courtesy of Logitech. This will be held on the EVE Online Facebook page.
17:20 Unaffiliated vs. HYDRA RELOADED to be in with a chance of winning a G700 wireless gaming mouse courtesy of Logitech. This will be held on the EVE Online Twitter feed.
18:40 Nulli Secunda vs. B A N E to be in with a chance to win a GTC courtesy of Shattered Crystal. This will be held on the EVE Online Facebook page.
20:00 Babylon 5.. vs. SOLAR FLEET to be in with a chance of winning a G700 wireless gaming mouse courtesy of Logitech. This will be held on the EVE Online Alliance Tournament Discussion forum.
20:40 Wild Boars vs. Outbreak to be in with a chance of winning a G-35 Surround Sound headset courtesy of Logitech. This will be held on the EVE Online Twitter feed.
Sunday, June 12
15:20 Circle-of-Two vs. Outbreak to be in with a chance to win a GTC courtesy of Shattered Crystal. This will be held on the EVE Online Facebook page.
16:20 WE FORM VOLTRON vs. POWER OF TWO to be in with a chance of winning a G700 wireless gaming mouse courtesy of Logitech. This will be held on the EVE Online Alliance Tournament Discussion forum.
17:20 Lack of Imagination vs. B A N E to be in with a chance to win a GTC courtesy of Shattered Crystal. This will be held on the EVE Online Twitter feed.
18:20 Pandemic Legion vs. Unaffiliated to be in with a chance of winning a G-35 Surround Sound headset courtesy of Logitech. This will be held on the EVE Online Facebook page.
19:20 Negative Ten vs. DarkSide. to be in with a chance of winning an EVE Online Battleship model courtesy of Shattered Crystal. This will be held on the EVE Online Twitter feed.
20:40 The Kadeshi vs. Wildly Inappropriate. This is the weekend bonanza prize. Take part in this event on the EVE Online Alliance Tournament Discussion forum to be in with a chance of winning a GTX 560 video card courtesy of EVGA.

Rules for this event:
1, In order to participate players must submit entries in the proper venue. For example, the Perihelion Alliance vs. Vanguard Imperium on the EVE forums must have all submissions posted in that forum thread. If you posts in a separate thread, on the EVE Online facebook or Twitter pages then your entry is invalid.
2. Submissions finish once the match starts. Any new entries or edits made after the match is live will be disqualified.
3, You need only enter each competition with a single entry. By that we mean that spamming 30 replies of the same team does not get you thirty names in the draw.

Not sure that I am following you. The first 'Predict a winner' will be in this very subforum as per:

Each of the matches have the corresponding location right after them so it should not be difficult to locate the correct area in plenty of time

What I want to know was what happen to dev for a day! someone won that for sure but I don't remember hearing anything of it.

I don't know about anyone else, but I can't find where it is we're supposed to post on these different sites who we think is going to be the winner of the specific matches. So how about posting some links to the actual web pages where one can make their posts to who they think the winner of the different matches will be.

Let me clarify things a little and hopefully this will be easier to follow. My apologies if this was not clear at the beginning.
We will take two matches as examples.
The first will be 15:40 Perihelion Alliance vs. Vanguard Imperium to be in with a chance to win a GTC courtesy of Shattered Crystal. This will be held on the EVE Online Alliance Tournament Discussion forum.
At around 15:20 or 15:25 a thread will appear in this forums with the header, 'Predict a winner between Perihelion Alliance and Vanguard Imperium.'. Players will have from the time of the announcement until such time as the match starts to submit their entry. Oncethe match starts, as per the rules, no new entries are considered.
Once that match is over we will gather the names of all the winners and simply draw a name at random to win that prize. We will contact the winner via the registered mail on their account and arrange for shipping of the prize.
The second match is 16:20 Negative Ten vs. Against ALL Authorities to be in with a chance of winning a G-19 Keyboard courtesy of Logitech. This will be held on the EVE Online Facebook page.
Like the forums, we will post an announcement on the EVE Facebook page with a header such as 'Predict the winner of Negative Ten vs. Against ALL Authorities to be in with a chance of winning a G-19 keyboard'. Like the forum thread, players or followers simply need to submit a response. Again, like the forum thread, the minute the match begins we will accept no more entries and winners are picked the same way.
Twitter will be exactly the same as Facebook.

There are over 108,000 followers on Facebook and several thousand tweeters who follow #EVEonline. You could create as many accounts as you want but the likelihood of winning with a bunch of alts is slim.

How about we don't try and destroy the spirit of the competitions
Remember that Navigator sees all and checking for triple account entries is really simple.
We want everyone to be in with a chance of winning and to have some fun taking part.
