The official website for the game was down for a few minutes as well, although Lulz claimed it was not responsible for that end of the outage.

Yesterday the group hit Minecraft, League of Legends, EVE Online and The Escapist with DDoS attacks.
As of now, the EVE Online website is back up, but Tranquility, the main game server is up and down sporadically.

Well, they obviously are existing only on the attention they're currently getting. They're using "hacking by request" on Twitter to gain fame and notoriety. If they start refusing requests they don't like, they look like back paddlers.
