Are the orca's corporation and ship hangers scannable by players? I've done some searching and confirmed that NPC ships can scan all holds, but nothing concrete on actual players.
Thanks!

As far as I know the corporation hangar was changed some time during the last half year. So now it's scanable but still won't drop anything upon destruction. On the other side this wouldn't make perfect sense considering corps being able to forbid peeking into containers (but you could still scan them?). Didn't try it yet considering I'm the Orca pilot usually. At least corporate hangar being unscanable was the old behaviour (at least till last xmas) so don't trust older posts - but overall I'd be interested in some confirmation on this as well.

I'm curious about this too. If I or a corpmate had an Orca I'd try scanning it down, but alas, we don't.
If anyone that can fly an Orca wants to verify this in-game, message me. I'll try a cargo scanner on you.

The Orca cargo hold is scannable by players using the cargo scanner module. The Orca fitting is scannable by player using the ship scanner module. There is no module that scans the ship maintenance bay or corporate hangars.
NPCs have a special, magical, ability to scan the contents of all "container" components of a ship.
I have verified this ingame by attempting to use a cargo scanner to scan the contents of my corpmates Orca.

The only way to make something unscanable by players is to put the item into a container and then make a courior contract with the container in it.
Someone scanning the courior package will see that there is a container in it, but not what is inside the container.
