Since I cant submit a bug report due to getting constant error code 500s, I have no choice but to post it here. This is the second consecutive bug report that cannot be submitted do to this problem.
The BR...
I have discovered a bug that I understand may be one the ccp devs have been hunting for quite a while. It seems to occur when jumping a group of characters from one system to another at the same time (like when jumping a fleet through etc) what seems to happen is that on a random occasion one (or sometimes a few more) character will load the graphic of the new system (the skybox nebula) but not any of the ships or gates that are present on that grid. the ship of the player wont load and the controls for movement stop working.
I have 16 accounts so I went out and replicated this using 15 gallente shuttles. hopefully itll help to popping this bug.
Repeat Steps
What i did was log in drokoth using a seperate client (its indipendant from my main boxing group) and then launched the remaining 15 chars on another client and logged them all in. They start in space near a stargate and I keep them out of fleet. I jump several gates several times all at once and it seems to work just fine with no problems.
So I setup a fleet with drokoth and join all of my chars into the fleet... I add drokoth to their watch lists (as I normally would) and start jumping gates again.
The first 8 jumps or so are fine so I start thinking running logserver seems to mask it somehow.. But when I jump into Tash Murkon Prime one of the clients gets the bug and I have it logged.
The client that locks is the one I close first. I have all of the logs all the way through from the time I log in to the time I logout and close logserver... Combined, the files are huge.. so I will attach the one I believe is the one containing the bugged jump and will keep the others should you want them.
Also if you need me to do anything else to try and help out just lemme know and ill get to it. I have plenty of time all week.
Since I cant attach files here on the forum can someone tell me somewhere I can upload the files so that ccp can grab the logs. the log containing the error is about 20b (just over) and all of the logs total containing login-out and all jumps are about 200-300mb |

Hi! Thank you a lot for your effort to help us track down this bug. Please zip or rar the logs and upload them to any free upload site. Then send me an EVE-mail with the details (link, ...) and I will check them out.
Regarding the problems with the bug reporting site: Did you try to upload big files, when in resulted in an error? CCP Habakuk | EVE Quality Assurance | Team Gridlock Writing bug reports | Mass tests

I uploaded log server files for this exact issue in a bug report. I dont think anyone has looked at them at all., minus the standard/generic response. Spaceship Pilot. |

Did you do this test on Buckingham?
The latest fix per devs is on that server. Rerunning the test would produce new info for CCP without having to wait for the mass test. |

I found your bug report and attached it to the correct internal defect. I had a short look at the logs and they are similar to ones, which I already have - which is very good. I can also see that this case was for sure NOT caused by clock drift (which was discussed in other forum threads). I'll go through the details of the logs on Monday. Unfortunately there are no known changes for this problem on Buckingham, compared to TQ. On the other side: Testing on Buckingham avoids the risk of losing ships on TQ. CCP Habakuk | EVE Quality Assurance | Team Gridlock Writing bug reports | Mass tests

Yea this definitely is not clock drift. Thanks for attaching this to the internal defect. I really hope this issue can get nailed down. Anything we can try out to help?
Had this bug happen to me yesterday again, except it was not going through a gate, was a titan bridge instead. Only 70 in fleet jumping into a near empty system. I wish i had log server running because on this instance, 5 minutes before titan bridge went up I had restarted my client. I'm not joining fleets anymore because this one bug. After that crash I just didn't log back in and still haven't.

Another short update: I received now the logs from Lord Drokoth, and they contain exactly the same pattern (the third time now). I will go through these logs together with our programmers on Monday. CCP Habakuk | EVE Quality Assurance | Team Gridlock Writing bug reports | Mass tests

Awsome! Best of luck. After the work ccp snorlax and co put into fixing the blue.dll errors several months ago in sure this bug will finally be squished. Then I can fly my 15 alts without random ones falling asleep on gates lol. |

Hmm, maybe it's actually Snorlax who's putting your alts to sleep?
