I just saw on the news that Iceland is redrafting its constitution and starting from scratch. Do you think this will affect how CCP is able to provide a service internationally? Or that they might get taxed more? Less?...

@OP, you know what lobbyists are and what they do, don't you?
If CCP has enough money to keep 600+ employees in bread and butter, develop 3 games, held a Fanfest each year, donate to charities.. I think they can also pay some lobbyist or are in some organisation that has got them.

True, but for how long could they keep them hired? We can't assume to know CCP's financial situation. I know of companies that externally appear as if they are thriving, but internally it's like balancing a few bowling balls and bombs on top of a marble. I'm just wondering what would the worst case scenario.
Also no need to be a sarcastic **** you *******.

Hm.. If that scenario is close to reality I think CCP got more to worry about than a new constitution

Thats time dialation. You wouldnt be able to meet yourself, when going close to the speed of light time goes slower (The universe is w****d around the speed of light)

Hm.. so once I actually meet myself time stands still? Also what has this to do with speed of light all of a sudden. I was sitting in my delorean and flying around the sun at Warp 9. That is at least 9 times faster than the speed of light. *looks clever and twinks*

Its a tad more than 9 times the speed of light bro. http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/treknology/warptable.gif hears a table, because EVE loves tables

Edited by: Sakura Ren Fenikkusu on 19/06/2011 20:08:59 As of Dec 2010, the number of active subscribers in EVE is greater than the population of Iceland, could we get some love and be given an honorary citizenship or something like that?
(^_^) Joking, but LOL at the prospect.

Edited by: Vozch Fischtauder on 19/06/2011 20:17:21 As matter of fact I doubt this "constitution" will be accepted because it will also have to be cleared by two consecutive parliaments. And the current government is not popular to say the least.
And I also guess CCP is having to pay higher taxes already since 2008.
