Just noticed that a lot of npcs I need to kill during quests have a Bounty on them.
When the ship is destroyed do I receive the bounty or do I need to do something?
Noobie question, I know :3

Yes, you will get the ISK when you kill NPCs. Not right away though, bounty payouts are every 20 min and it is also subject to corp tax if it is 120k or more.

Yes, though it may not appear right away. It takes a few minutes for CONCORD to process the transaction.

You get it, minus any corporation taxes. It's sent to your wallet as a total of all ships killed every 15 minutes.

5-10 min delay and it may group several together
I mine/build/fight/cloak.
i usually mine to get minerals to build so i have stuff to fight with if not i cloak

it was instantenous years ago, but was changed to reduce lag, now you'll see your wallet change after a few minutes, and you can put mouse on the line the get the details on what ships killed are included.

This is how 79% of the 0.0 population lives. Killing NPC ships for hours to collect the bounty. Most of them use bot programs to do it for them, it's even better ISK than running 0.0 mining bots which causes a lot of frustration with PvPers and Industrialists living in empire and low sec playing without elaborate alliance wide bot programs.

Once upon a time, you got it immediately.
Today, you just chill for a while (hey, go kill MORE rats!!!). Then it magically vanishes into your wallet.
Yes I said that correctly.
