so I've gone to
~/Library/Preferences/EVE Online Preferences/p_drive/My Documents/EVE/logs/Fleetlogs
and the only chat logs I see are old, pre February if I am right.
Did the location of the chat logs move?

Can anyone confirm their chat logs are here?
I did check my client and "log chat" is clicked.

Chatlogs are in
~/Library/Preferences/EVE Online Preferences/p_drive/My Documents/EVE/logs/Chatlogs
this has not been changed yet. But it will most probably change tomorrow. --- I don't know! I don't know why I did it, I don't know why I enjoyed it, and I don't know why I'll do it again! Bart Simpson. |

For some reason, nothing past last november 2010 appears in that directory.
Thank you for your reply!

Rename the folder "EVE Online Preferences" then run the game and login (wait for some chat activity in local to be sure). Quit the client. Note: you'll lose (temporarily) all your setup and will need to re-accept the eula.
Verify that a new folder with that name had been created and that the chatlog is there.
Then delete the new folder and rename the old one back to re-gain all your settings.
If the folder was correctly re-created and did have the chat log, then I guess you have changed some setting that prevents the client from logging. --- I don't know! I don't know why I did it, I don't know why I enjoyed it, and I don't know why I'll do it again! Bart Simpson. |
