Agree with some of it not all of it.....
ISN is again all about the isk/hour and this is what killed incursions in the first place.
A lot of TVP couldnt care less and just want to sign in and run sites, some don't want to grow and improve. It's shocking that you have such a capitalistic view of a damn game.
Why do we want to run HQ's more than VG's or Assaults? May be its becuase there is a sense of achievement when 40+ unknown dudes complete a site.
but hey props to ISN for creating such a well oiled team; i do believe their is an air of arrogancy on both sides. |

I also had a chance to listen to the meeting and I'd like to offer my point of view.
TVP is an open incursion community and is a good place for anyone wanting to learn incursions from an Assault/HQ perspective. Being an open community, it will attract all sorts of pilots from all spectrums. It's the nature of the beast. After running with the TVP crowd for a while, one becomes attuned to the good, bad and the ugly of the community and it's pilots as a whole. Yes it has drama, politics and crap however which community doesnt after a while? ISN isnt immune to it either.
I like ISN's premise of doing things better and wanting to attract the higher caliber of pilot willing to be excellent at doing incursions with the goal of earning more ISK/Hr. I still think that is doesnt have all the answers on what ships that it allows however it is a good start. It's members for the most part are good pilots however I have seen some zealots within its ranks that are causing some problems that ISN leadership is now aware of and it will be interesting to see what lies ahead. I also think that ISN is learning that killing TVP is not good for business either. In reality, theres no reason to.
Since I havent had a chance to run with ISN, I can't comment on how they run. TVP fleets for the most part are very good if you want to have fun and make some ISK. The pace on which fleets run varies on the FC, time of day and what sort of drama that has transpired for that day. It is interesting to see pilots from opposite alliances put there diffrences behind them and generally help out each other pilot in fleet. The trolling for the most part is in good nautre to help point out the pilots mistake. There have been fleets where we do things slightly different to break up the monotony of running these sites over and over and over and for a brief time actually enjoyed the comradery and had fun without the concern of ISK/Hr.
If you're the type of pilot looking for a fast buck, TVP may not be the place for you. If you are looking to learn, relax and have some fun while generating some decent ISK then you might want to check it out. |

OP manages to make it sound like ISN was responsible for the nerf. And it wasn't because incursion pilots were ISK-centric either. CCP thought that the potential isk/hour was outside the risk/reward balance they wanted.
To me it has always seemed to be that ISN just wants to run fleets through incursion sites as best as they can be run. Off the top of my head there are two measurable ways to define this. How fast are you earning and how often you lose ships.
As for the political issues between incursion communities, they were bound to happen eventually and were only hastened by the nerf. |

What I like when I am flying with the ISN is the fleet disipline, knowing the FC knows his sh.. stuff, that the logistic got our backs, and that we all have a failsafes in the case that all our logistic got jammed.
And all alliance/corp politics get left at the gate.
The ship requirements shouldn't be seen as a hinderance, but as a goal. A goal which allows ISN to run the fleets for it's maximum potential. It also is a safety for the FC to know what kind of ships he got, and thereby he knows the fleets limititations.
It is a tighty ship, with little room to no room for sloopiness.
The isk is there, the sites is taken down shiftly, and the FC calls the shoots. If he is in a good mode, the comms are relaxed in between primary targets or warping between sites. Where we have time to talk about every day stuff or just a fun episode from RL.
All the drama there have happened of late. Meh, water under the bridge I hope, now that the drama spike seems to have fallen again. I sincerely hope the pity harrashment attempts will sieze, so we can get back to what everyone wants to do.
Run sites, make isk, have fun and spend time with our friends.

All alliance and corp politics gets left at the gate, so we dont have any dirt throwing and slander going on in OUR fleets, I dont know how comms and fleet chat are in your fleets. |
