No Worries, this is England. He'll get told what a bad boy he has been, then sent on numerous holidays (at taxpayer expense) to rehabilitate him. And then get lots of money from suing the government for abusing his rights to "Hack" (using the term loosely for what they did) by arresting him, because under the European Human rights act he is allowed to do whatever he likes. Or maybe sent on some rehabilitation course, maybe one to improve his computer skills and make him more employable
If found guilty of course mind you he's from Essex so he's guilty of something anyway. Makes note to stop trying to wind Xtreem up with essex comments lol
Hey Xtreem..criminals in Essex? you should try the North East :) your lot are amatuers compared to the chavs up here :)

That sort of thing doesn't happen in British prison, if somebody did do it they would be labeled as a ponce and end up being bullied into protected custody.

Originally by: Kalle Demos Wait a sec, someone from Essex managed to 'hack', actually this just goes to show how fail the rest of the world is, its like having a baby beat you up
I wouldn't call it hacking...just some script kiddie (he was only 19) who got lucky a few times. I wouldn't doubt it if there was someone older who actually knew what he was doing (btw, he'll/she'll never get caught).
DDOS is not hacking, neither is SQL injection...many of the things people who think they are hackers use are just scripts/programs made by someone else. |

Firstly, look at how ape**** the 'merkins went for extradition when some UFO nutter manages to get somewhere he shouldn't. He wasn't even able to do much while there but that is proof enough that the US govt want payback when their collective pants are pulled down.
Lulzsec got into the CIA which is a much higher profile target. The US government will be baying for blood, will want extradition of this guy, and as the CIA will be involved, will likely ship him off to some country where torture is legal to find out the names and contact details of any potential other members of LulzSec. Best case, if they don't do that because the media are watching too closely, will likely be waterboarding on the QT followed by life in some hole of a prison in the US.

They didn't actually "Hack" or get into the CIA servers, they did a DDOS against the CIA.Gov website, a site which inlcudes all sort of important stuff like mission statements (NO not the secret type) and kiddies pages, which actually includes some neat little games :). I doubt the security on the site is higher than any other government information site. But using the term "hacked the CIA" makes it sound more impressive than what they actually achieved, which was to take an info site down for a while.
As you say though, the American govt will have the option to extradite him if they have evidence linking him any attack on an American website or even if any attack was connected to an American site in anyway. Personally I'd grass on my sisters (guilty or not, has to be another upside to all this lol) and make any deal I could so as to spend time in a Brit jail and not to spend time in an American Federal jail :)

The Daily Mail? Afraid not prefer the onion (onion.net)
But I also live in an area where the wannabe gangstas brag about what they got away with and what the "punishment" was. An yes an ASBO is a badge of honour round here. If Daily mail readers lived locally, they would be a lot more reactionary than they already are.
*for non UK residents, ASBO, Anti-social behaviour order. A court awarded honour whereby wannabee gangstas can gain standing whithin their group. Equivalent of EVE security status

Originally by: Tallis Lindisere Just heard on the news that Scotland Yard with help from the FBI just nicked one of the Lulzsec crowd. Seemingly a guy from Essex, which if you're from the UK explains a lot about the mentality of those people.
The Newsreader was reading out a bunch of the websites they had hit and NO EVE did not get mentioned
Wonder how long it takes him to grass up his mates
EVE online did get mentioned as being hacked on the BBC news website http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-13859868 on the right side dated 14th June

Yeah best to hope you're not a hacker in the US as it's a federal crime in most instances. Just think "Crimninal:What are you in for?" Bank robbery... multiple murders, and evasion across multiple state lines."
"Criminal:You?"
"Hacker: I uh DDOS, and broke into a few databases."
"Criminal: Uh! I thought I was bad! You must have had a messed up childhood."

Assuming he is a member and guilty lets he if he rolls on his buddies. After all how many people are willing to go to prison for their corp members? Or say a facebook friend. That's one reason Manning got caught quicker than he did.

That is why it is all teenagers as older people tend to have more wisdom and even though we can, we don't because it is immoral and i don't feel sorry AT ALL for the guy, he knows right from wrong so he deserves what he gets. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime

I take it you have not been to prison because that does happen if you are unlucky (being in prison for life, i dont think the person would care who it is at the end of his manhood) . 43'ers on the other hand are pedo's, rapists n grassers who are the scum of the earth and get treated as such.
