Lol, knew the 17:00 was quite unrealistic.

Thanks for reposting this, reading the sticky thread with regular updates, including the one you have posted, was far to difficult to spot.
And everyone knew the stated time was unrealistic, it's called previous experience

It's 10pm GMT. You can take it from there.

Wow..a little anger management goes a long way.
BTW: It's 9:00pm not 10:00pm as someone suggested and that puts it at 5:00 PM EDT US.

I love these forums, you get 5 replies to a question that don't answer the actual question. The ACTUAL answer to the question is FIVE (5) PM (afternoon) EASTERN TIME (with DST in effect).

If you're on the East Coast of the US, I will assume you're EDT, so that is 17:00
If 17:00 is too cryptic, it is 5:00 pm (that pm = +12)

Yes, because I too find basic mathematics a challenge.
So yeah, I am just suppose to know what UTC is or GMT is. I live in a world where we look at our clock and that is the time.

it's a scientific fact, straight through the middle runs the nought line of longitude. Alright, we put it there but it still stands - Great Britain is the Centre Of The Earth. And this means that we British are in charge of what time it is all over the world! _________- Since 2004 |

Right..so tell me Mr. Smug living in my parents basement why I need to know what time it is in London, or Berlin or Tokyo? Please explain. I live on the East Coast of the US - why do I possibly need to know what time it is there, when I live here?

East Coast USA is GMT -5, which makes it 5:00 PM Eastern Time. This is because GMT is not on Daylight Savings and Eastern is Currently on EDT or Daylight Savings.
(I think this is right, but the Daylight Savings business in the States always gave me a headache when it came to time conversions.) -----------

Because the EU forum trolls *need* something to rail against the US about whilst their own countries collapse under economic and social failures...
