Zhuge Liang, Did you even read my post before deleteing it?
it was not a random reply to any part of the subject that it was locked for. it was a request for finding out why it had been locked, when I didnĈt think it should have.
this is a request for you to listen to what I am saying instead of just locking threads with the word Exploit in them.
I love the game, for gods sake I pay a fair bit to play it I don't want to see exploits or idiots ruin it, all I wanted was to be kept informed.
BAN BAN BAN BAN BAN Blah Blah Blah
I now would like to know who to address my complaints to, or would you please contact me in game for a brief discussion.
thank you

If you have worries about an exploit, petition it.
If you have complaints/questions about mods/descisions email [email protected]
If in doubt, check the support database on the left hand side before posting about the same thing afew times.

Thanks for the address, for complaints I will be using it. IĈm just getting fed up of getting treated like a MONKEY instead of a customer. I still love the game, if not some of the people in it.

That's the hilarious part about these forums.
It's against the rules to say anything about the moderation. It's against the rules to even question the rules.
Talk about oppressive. ---------------

ah yes, so true.
Doing what you just did (or did a while ago to be exact), is not smart. Keep it up and you wont be posting here no longer. _______________________________________________

Been there for months, even pre-exodus.
Nothing to do with a market exploit i think, just a certain way of mining. And who says it's one man ?

Rod Blaine, you will have to explain a bit better
"Doing what you just did (or did a while ago to be exact), is not smart. Keep it up and you wont be posting here no longer."
is that a threat or an observation?

Erm ive seen more oppresive forums frankly.
How does having a forum for users to addrese complaints about moderation sound?
Sounds nice right?
Not if that forum was especially created so the mod team could laugh at everyone who brought an issue up.
And other more terrible stuff than this.
And if i had known that i wouldnt get penalised for using the market exploit i would have done so.....a few hundred million for buying the odd implant or for giving away free gifts to friends would have been nice.
Cmon CCP,why arent these people being punished?

You obviously got some post deleted and reposting the subject is a pretty good way to get banned. There are ofcourse more creative ways but so far this has been the most popular one.
Edit: instead of saying IBTL when a post is so obviously gonna get deleted maybe we should take bets on who will lock it. I'm gonna go with Eris this time __________ Capacitor research |

I understand the need for rules and moderation but does everyone have to get sooo far up themselves?
What is the big deal?

Oh right, sorry didn't really read your post Well you're not supposed to question moderation. It's sounds a little harsh but there is actually a good reason for it. Those forums would be spammed with "why did you lock my post" posts if they would allow it. Just do the mature thing and email them. __________ Capacitor research |

You only need to email to the mods if you like to discuss moderation which isn't that many emails. Except if that's all you want to talk about, if it is you're probably better of finding another forum where it's allowed. __________ Capacitor research |

Anyway, as the mods say. You can only really stop someone from using an 'sploit by mailing the mods.
Otherwise, they will come on here, see what you're saying. And simply start a new account on Eve and on eBay.
I for one, do not know how CCP 'bans' accounts, but maybe they should ban the credit cards/email addresses associated with them to stop people simply creating new accounts. Or quite simply impose a limit of 5 accounts per cc/email. I don't know.

FireFoxx80 I agree, but to only to some extent.
The so called "Market Exploit" was not an exploit at all - but a bug that some people took advantage of, It that has been fixed! I for one just want to be officially told about it. if it is fixed then there should be no problem telling us the issue and putting it finnaly to rest.
Banning accounts just stops the individual oppertunists, as you say the orgonised just open new Eve accounts, (or they would start with new credit cards). they arw the ones that are spoiling OUR game (they have wrecked other games) those are the ones that need stopping.
the long learning time fot the Exploiters to get a new account up and running should work in CCP's favour, they just need to keep an eye on eBay and persicute the sellers.
thay could have some investigation into people who swap accounts, if a player has 22 million skill points then they should know a fair bit about the working of EVE. a noob wouldn't have a clue.
