I like the CQ, I understand it's a first step to other content, and I look forward to having EVE grow into a fuller world. I have added time to 3 of my accounts for another 3 months to show my support.
My feedback:
1) I would say the movement needs some work. Run and standard strafe movement from any FPS would be nice. I'm sure anyone grabbing the WASD keys that has played any FPS felt a bit awkward.
2) I would like to see a go between from the old station view to the CQ view. I think it makes sense that you would not always leave your pod every time you dock up to just get ammo or something.
3) While I won't be participating in Micro Transactions, I don't disagree with them. The current store is a little confusing though since the pricing is VERY high and there are only a small amount of items that aren't really that interesting. I could see some rare items fetching high prices, but there should be a lot more selection at normal MT prices.. drop a few zero's from the prices.
I also think that any MT item should not give anyone a competitive edge. Someone mentioned transactions that could change race or reset standings with NPC corps which I thought was an interesting concept.
4) The new gun icons are too dark. I keep thinking my guns are offline when they in fact are online.
5) Control over what channel of information I want to watch on the CQ TV. If I've missed this, disregard
6) It runs well on my system, but I'm running a new 4 core sandy bridge I5 OC'd to 4.8Ghz and an ATI HD5870 with the fan @ 80% while I play any game. I can run 3 eve clients with no issue. I also use a ramdisk for eve cache and the clients are installed on a SATA 3 SSD drive. Having said that, I also play from an old beater laptop sometimes while out of town etc. If there are more options to stress machines less, that would be nice. I think EVE should remain a game where you can reasonably connect from anywhere, without needing a jacked up gaming rig ( from an options menu point of view).
