Now I know this update has screwed with a lot of peoples EVE playing, but its not the 90s anymore, its freaking 2011. No matter what CCP does, you lot will nag and complain anyways. I run 2 games at the same time with both in station (yes, on one computer). All I'm running is an AMD Athlon 6000+ dual core 3.0ghz CPU, 4GB RAM (Using a 64bit OS), 1.5TB HDD space and an Nvidia GTX 9800+ (1GB) graphics card...with a 256kbs internet connection. No problems, blown a few ships up today and lost just as many, hasn't impacted my pewpew in any way. I enjoy walking around in the station, a change from station spinning. And sitting down playing the market, getting names of bounties, keeping up to date with sov changes and getting names of new pilots to recruit has made waiting for my GCC to cool down a LOT more enjoyable. Only problem I see is the massive expense behind the clothing items. For all those complaining, grow up, get with the times and get a damn life. CCP, step in the right direction. Thank for you the FREE expansion and for bring EVE that step closer to being a full scifi reality for us to enjoy (and thanks for all the hard work too). --------------------------------- You think your lag is bad? The news feed is a handy thing to watch while you're playing the market due to the information it gives you about bounties, new pilots, market details, incursions and sov changes. I don't think I mentioned anything else other than the Aur prices being a joke. I know your ability to comprehend is lacking (as is evident by your post), but if you can't grasp the basic concepts of a post...please refrain from posting. Skyreth The Corporation of Noble Sentiments	Posted - 2011.06.22 13:13:00 - [3] Just to be the logical one for a second- So in a world where games are becoming more and more open and realistic, all the over-dramatic people here seem to think CCP won't advance with the times? This is only 1.0 of Incarna too, mind you. There are a lot of bugs to iron out, a lot more work to be done, but this is a starting point. And for those of you complaining about your low-end systems, CCP has said a few times in the past that you will need to upgrade, it was your own fault for not listening then. So either CCP advances with the times and becomes a truly open sandbox scifi environment, or it stays the way it was and when the X series from Egosoft goes Multiplayer EVE would die. And if you lot haven't upgraded since the 90s, thats your own fault. Your choice guys. Either CCP goes broke because you guys won't let it move forward with the rest of the gaming world, or you give them a chance...they've done pretty damn well so far. --------------------------------- You think your lag is bad? You didn't check and many people ignored being told that the system requirements were changing, but CCP also could have done better. I accept that the game would be better if the CQ was optional. As some people have said before, having a button to enter the station or somesuch from the original hangar view. This would work wonders for those of you who can't and/or wont upgrade, for those that complain about running more than one client and would even speed things up for those of us that are otherwise fine. But going off your head when you could have checked is a tad immature. So forgive me, but if this is how you'd react, I think EVE will be better off without you. Ps. I enjoy the CQ, although I prefer not to run more than 1 client now due to it. There is no legal issue since they did post several times that the requirements changed. Simple as that. The details were there for public viewing and you didn't check. They didn't ask for your soul, they didn't ask for all the money you had. So seriously, please, grow up. Far more enjoyable and personally, I think the attitude and abuse you're throwing about (like the fact you started bad mouthing me without me doing anything to you) is giving the people in this forum with REAL problems a bad name. There are people here who've had computers go nuts from over heating (and maybe some have even lost their computers due to it), people here that would love to keep playing but just don't have the money for it and so much more...yet majority go about it in a more mature and respectful way (good job there too guys, seriously). So go back to WoW and let the real EVE players give feedback on the expansion, be it good or bad. And if you won't give me your stuffz, I might just take it. You make a good point, it is yet another case in this entire event that becomes an equal share responsibility. The players didn't bother to check and CCP didn't take further actions.
