Given the value of that last bid, should there be no further bids by 1100 GMT (next downtime), I will be closing this auction early. All current bidders will be notified by evemail, so they can re-bid if they wish.
In the event of the last bid failing to pan out, the auction will re-open again.

you can't close auctions early because one bid is way higher than the last. read the forum rules on auctions dude.

Always try to put an ending time and date for the auction. People appreciate to know how long they have to obtain the money or to outbid their opponent. I'd advise to limit the auction to 2-3 days, since most interested buyers will have noticed the auction within this time and having it last longer will only have your thread drop further down the pages.
The time at which the auction ends should also be stated. Keep in mind that players come from all over the world and a good time for you might not be a good time for you. I personally prefer an ending time between 20:00 and 22:00 EVE-time. It seems to suit most timezones.

Well technically he can, as long as he does so that ppl from all over the world can see it in time. It is never and nowhere stated that once the "out"bid has been met, he cant stop the auction. Since the outbid is hidden, or not stated, i believe darkwolf hadn't outstepped his boundaries. Yet.

Additional to that, I've evemailed every bidder to let them know, and give them a chance to beat it. Should the current high bid not be legitimate (which is a possibility), then the auction will continue until its conclusion on the 25th - regardless of any other bids.

No, the auction is still paused, on account of me being whacked by some escrow bug which made the BPO vanish.
As you can imagine, I'm pretty furious. I've petitioned it, now I just need to wait for a response.
Edit: Situation has been resolved, and blueprint sold. Thank you all for your time - buyer's name and bid amount will remain hidden.
