Just askin.
Usually they are heavily moderating.
It seems their practice is to release, then run and hide for a day.

Their around I saw them lock up a topic already. They are probably under the impression that letting us vent it out is smarter than trying to keep us from talking at this point, so they are probably very being very loose with their standards right now.

They're probably trying to discuss ways to positively spin this, or crack down on it. They're also probably ****ting themselves for the disaster this is causing. --

I suspect that the are currently in real-life shock, seeing all this reaction to their hard labour would be very demoralising. It seems that they need to do 4 things:
acknowledge the huge problem of Incarna.
Reverse CQ patch or make it optional, so that original hangar view is implemented again.
Clarify why these fluff updates are so more important then current game play issue, which were already named.
Why are they making this fail project DUST only for one console and splitting their Dev team on pretty much non profitable projects that are doomed before they even hit the game market.

Maybe they are all alt-posting in the pro-Incarna threads?
Most of teh heavy moderation and thread deletions happened yesterday right after patch.
You are not going to see official responses to anything non-trivial until PR and Marketing has had sufficient time to coach everyone at CCP properly.
The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the ho's and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!' and I'll look down, and whisper 'no.' |

There is no doubt that they have pulled back a bit to discuss a game plan and come forth at some point in the near future with solution to this ball of tears and rage.

Just for a little while though.....
After a certain amount of time passes, they not only forgive you, they let you stick your woo-woo in their hoo-hoo again.
I love where evolution has taken us.

They probably allow a lot of leeway the day after a release to let people vent for a bit. I'll bet the mods will be back in full force tomorrow, or at least by Monday.

The wording and writing style in some of those pro-incarna threads are the same as wording used in mod/dev posts.

Every major release for a MMO whether it be an expansion, or a new release, always has its forums inundated with negative posts. This is normal. So there is no point for them to get involved yet. I'm sure that they will take things from the few actual meaningful posts and implement changes when needed. In reality, most of the people that play this game are not on the boards, but playing and enjoying the game. Board posters are the minority of the playerbase.

I also noticed that the anti Incarna threads are generally written in a high school drop out-esque fashion. Maybe there is a correlation? . Adapt and overcome or become a monkey on an evolution poster.

The majority also didn't vote in the CSM crapfest, 14% turnout in the last CSM election.
Yet they get to crapfest all over the game on behalf of the minority.

The damage is done. Nothing to be moderated at this point that the bad word filter can't fix.
The aur exchange rate will be adjusted down, they'll try to pass it off as a bad glitch and not a disgusting rip off and then get back to their usual crap of rolling out the next fail part of this expansion while saddling us with more bugs than ever.
Get used to " it's optional, you don't have to buy it " ( then why did you make it and how does it make the game better ) and it's not optional you have to use it ( even though we don't want and it's optional casue we dont have to buy it .... umm wait duh what ?)
The smell of fail will linger long. stay in your pod

I cant belie people post stuff like this, this is no longer a regular patch outcry, this has take onto other level.
