You have all read enough threads to know how i feel, no need to restate what has been said already.
I am going to give -EVERYTHING-, valued at around 300 billion, to the person that posts THE best "I Quit" post. It can be in text form, picture form, video form, whatever.
I will contact the winner in-game, and contract him everything, including 14 billion in ISK alone.
May the best man(woman) win.

Edited by: Malias Yakusto on 23/06/2011 08:14:54 Incarna is worse then this picture below. Why? Because although this image will cause great psychological shock, it wont cause great physical hardware, and monetary, damage. Tubgirl will burn out one's mental capabilities for the first few minutes. Incarna will either fry your GPU, or burn a massive hole in your wallet in the near future as you attempt to keep your real $ fueled ships competitive with the rest of the playerbase.
Do I win?

Gah, why is it that whenever someone quits and wants to give away their stuff one has to come up with something creative (or not so much in some cases), I suck at anything that requires creativity.
but before you quit... ...Can i have your stuff??

Thats it! First you took away the classic client, forcing me to not only rewire my entire cave but to also upgrade my old Amstrad CPC 464, costing me tonnes of bearskins! Now you force me, almost at gunpoint to buy monocles and pants for REAL MONEY! OMG JESUS! **** YOU CCP! If anyone wants my 14 monocles and 5 sets of sterling underpants + classic texture Vexors YOU JUST CAN'T HAVE THEM ((since I'm RMTing errything so I can afford my WoT-gold))

My I quit post that I plan on posting depending on CCP's response when they gather the courage:
Let me open by saying what stuff I have left at the end of august will be handed off to a friend at that time who will, no doubt, see that it explodes soon; and my ISK, well, what ISK?
I have supported CCP since early 2006, I became mesmerised by Eve way back then and have had a subscription ever since. Late 2006 saw me open my second account, which I have also maintained till this day. A couple of other accounts I roll around when I was bored, but primarily the two. I have been a part of these forums (For greater or for worse; usually the latter) since about late 2006 - with my posting picking up around 2008-2009. I have enjoyed being part of the community, trolling the community, helping the community, contributing what I can (usually luls at my own expense). But all things, good and bad, must come to an end.
I dislike the direction that CCP as a company is taking this game. CCP used to stand for no after-subscription costs tied to playing the game and experiencing the content therein; Your subscription granted you complete access, with no pay walls or the like to any content. Whereas now, CCP is not charging for expansions but they are charging three to four months worth of subscription in one case for a single item.
A popular counterargument from CCP is that they are not putting content behind a pay-wall because it can be acquired by those unwilling to pay the PLEX cost by buying the items from those who are, however the only way these items can be entered into the game is through the consumption of PLEX, and every PLEX removed from the game has a 19.95 euro value attached to it. Which means on the extreme end, assuming the PLEX are bought directly from CCP at two plex a time, four plex (Or 14000 Aurum, the minimum "chunk" you can purchase in order to get the most expensive item, the Monocle) costs 69.98 euros.
At almost 70 euros, that is 2.4 times the current going cost of World of Warcraft's latest expansion, Cataclysm. You could buy all three of the expansions to World of Warcraft at their current RRP (68.85 euros total) for slightly less than the cost of a single Monocle [Important note, that's RRP. Current Amazon.co.uk prices put the lot at 34 euros]. Or, you could subscribe to Eve for six months, for the same cost.
The moment an MMO which has a subscription cost decides that it is going to develop content specifically with an extra real-world cost attached is where I step back and thoroughly review whether or not these are people I wish to give money to. Because the minute a company would rather spend months developing vanity items which will have a real world cost instead of spending that time developing and actually expanding/fixing the game and delivering things it actually promised is about the time my brain goes "Something is not right here".
Oh, and I wish to address something that seems to be a misconception that was communicated during the Alliance Tournament stream while CCP Zinfandel dropped by to "Promote" this garbage; Hobbyists don't take up hobbies to throw money away, they do so because they enjoy said hobby. People who treat Eve like a hobby aren't going to go "Oh, great! I can finally spend hundreds of euros/dollars enriching my gaming experience!". And if they do wish to invest more money? Then they are going to do it the same way they always have, by converting PLEX into ISK.
CCP has lost its way, and for that, unless CCP is willing to reverse all of this money grabbing bull**** and give us a proper "Stay in ship" opt out option by august, it haslost my subscriptions.
My condolences go to the community team who are going to be cleaning up the storm that is hitting the forums right now.

When I first started playing eve, amazing...good content, was all a mystery. They kept me slightly entertained for the next 2 years with several nerfs, WH's and all that jazz. It ruined my sex life, more than 1 job and I also shat myself several times with refusal to move off my seat cause there was no stations. Thanks CCP.
RMT is now CCP's new idea of eve, it is a cancer that kills all mmo's from what they once or should have been. Thanks CCP.
I have not had sex for years, I am 17 stone and havent had a shower in days....I am also unemployed. Thanks CCP.
So, I might quit and fix my life.
Thanks, CCP

Edited by: graphitemaster on 23/06/2011 08:34:36 Unplugged. Finally, he had found the key to ending the continous cycle of rebirth, life, an "inconveniance" of death, and once again, rebirth. He walked slightly pained out of the dark station room. It had taken him decades to find one with the knowledge to end his immortality. He chuckled at the thought. Ending immortality-everyone dreams of obtaining it, but not how to lose it, right? He strode stiffly towards his Mastadon class transport, a slight fond smile coming across his face as his eyes scanned the battle scarred hull. 253 successful runs, many a close call, many a bubble camp, but she held strong, of course, with the help of a microwarp drive and a cloak paired together. Many a memory he had while this vessel was in his service. But now it was time to bring it all to an end. And he wouldn't be sharing the secret with anyone. However, his exit wouldn't go quite unnoticed either.
The station door to his captain quarters whisked open as he entered. He made his way to his communications terminal. He opened his virtual cred account, funneling all of his accumulated funds to a close friend within his corp, and sending out one final contract composed of what assets he had left. He wouldn't need these where he was headed. He looked over his shoulder for a final time at his modest quarters before boarding his Mastadon.
The modest cargo bay of his Mastadon was filled to the brim with an assortment of demolitions, and he had a couple old "friends" in mind who could use these gifts he carried. He scratched slightly at the fresh scar on the back of his head. He hoped the contraption the crazed Amarrian had installed would function correctly and repress the download signal to his medical clone. Giving a final sigh, he undocked from the station, steered the ship in a wide arc, and pointed it directly back in the busy stream of vessels pouring out of Jita 4-4. He slammed his fist on the jury-rigged detonater and was consumed in the fire.

I quit EVE because I got scammed by Goonswarm. It was an elaborate and cunning operation that lasted years, and they totally wiped me out. One of them managed to become CCP Soundwave, who then conned me into paying my life savings for a f**cking monocle. I quit.
