If you read the EVE Online: Incarna patch notes, you may have noticed some really great content changes. CCP Big Dumb Object details them in his newest dev blog.

Hello all,
We understand that right now, many of you have a number of concerns and issues with the current state of EVE Online, we ask that you not derail threads with these posts. We are asking all of you who have comments and issues regarding the newsletter to post in this thread, and those of you with comments and issues regarding the Noble Exchange store prices to post here. This will help us keep track of what is being said by the community much more easily, while allowing other players to discuss other aspects of EVE Online in an on-topic environment.

Still not bad reading. Difficult for non-native speakers though. And it needs more numbers. And figures. Yes, definitely more figures!
It's not. He's been posting for a while.
Yeah, I'm just really bad about procrastinating.

+1 posts are considered spam, so please don't do that. I'm sure BDO loves the sentiment, however :D

No, he's been around for quite a while, longer than I have, iirc.

that was an accidental deletion. The forum software reuses the same post numbers, which sometimes results in a post being deleted unintentionally.

Also, the "ranged damage" event in sites now hurts drones as well. So if you've been relying on your swarm of little robot friends to complete sites at no risk to themselves: We fooled you! KABLAM!
Sure thing. Our deadspace sites can fire an event that damages a player. This is used in some scripted explosions, damage clouds, etc. Well, turns out there's been a bug in the system where only player ships were damaged. Player drones, however, were ignored by the event. So drones could just fly straight into the heart of a damage cloud, pop target, and fly out. This has been altered, so now the little drone buddies are affected just the same.
Not that this is only a change to a scripted event used in some deadspace and mission sites. Drones in the wider world have not been altered.

Are they affected by sig radius, or are you saying they instant pop now?
They are treated with the same magic math as player ships. Drones have simply been added to the Event's whitelist.

Good news!
I filed a defect!

NPC targeting has not been changed. Damage directed at the player's ship only will only hurt the ship.
EDIT: Man, quote tags are tricky.

Not a bad post overall, but it's called a MacGuffin
No need to reinvent the spinny round thing, eh?
"Plot device" predates MacGuffin by a bunch, and is a larger category that contains MacGuffins.
Fun fact: the original draft phrased it as a "Big Bag of Plot", but it was changed to not be so mean to our translators.

Quote: And finally, last release BFF made the dark, bloody murder world just a little brighter and more awesome with the agent division change.
So, is it intentional that all the Starter Profession agents are Distribution division for each faction, e.g. the Advanced combat agent?
Any idea on if pirate tutorial agents will get added or will we always continue to spawn new players as Do-gooder Empire dwellers who have to Let The Evil Out one pod at a time?
We're aware of the starter agents all being listed as Distribution. We're looking into it.
Pirate starting agents and areas do pop up in brainstorming every so often, but we have no real plans for these at this time.
