Waaait I think I know what you're talking about, in game go into the audio tab in the esc menu and check that the volume sliders are all up. Sometimes for some odd reason when I log in their is one of those that's always shoved all the way to the left and I have to slide it back up.

The best way to forget about ship sounds is to load your Real Player or Wincrap Media player with tons of Slayer, Pantera or any loud gripping music with some really loud exploding sounds.
You will never wonder about ship sounds again!!
Never really listened for sounds of the ship, since it was in space I always assumed there would be no sounds. *shrug* |
