The terrible truth is this tragedy will indeed bring more awareness to EVE and thus new players.

Lets be kind at this time, and welcome these new pilots, nurture thier love for the game show them how, vast and wonderfull EVE is, and at the point they are fully hooked on EVE, pod them.

Considering the hateful vendetta you've been waging on the forums against Goonswarm and a fallen statesman I can see why they look at you like you're a sociopath.

If people confuse a persons in game personality with their real life personality, then who's sense of reality is skewed?

Before jumping to that cheap shot conclusion which I honestly resent, you should probably look at my contributions to the RIP topic and see just how hateful I feel towards a fallen statesman (you may notice that in those topics I never refer to him as Vile Rat, but as Sean Smith).

I've said it before and I'll say it again, do not mistake my perspective towards Goons and 'Vile Rat' for what I think of Sean Smith and his real world contributions to humanity. It's kind of funny, many of us have spoken in support of Mr Smith and yet there are some who are so deep in their hatred for the average player, that they can't even be diplomatic and offer a thank you in our shared sympathies for a friend lost in such a horrible circumstance. Why?
