To be honest, it was a smooth expansion.
Especially considering that they added CQ without breaking more than usual in an expansion deployment :)
Also, forums are always angry, the fact that they're extra angry this time only means there are more idiots around.

3 patches since then is about CCP's average, but not most game companies' average
and its easy to smoothly introduce nothing. i saw the whole expansion in 5 minutes
The point is, they added something that haven't really been in TQ before. The room may only be one room, but it does introduce a bunch of stuff that wasn't around before.
Also, how other game companies do the expansions is irrelevant, since this will have to be compared to other EVE expansions.

That's a rather poor argument. In fact, it's not even an argument.
If you want to hear me say it, then by all means, I like the expansion. And the expansion have not been implemented in TQ any worse than any of the other expansions I have experienced.
You on the other hand, is a clear case of Syndromic mental ******ation. See, it's not necessarily true and I'm fairly sure it's not the case. However, your argumentative skills are somewhat at this level, which is pretty much nonexistent (so far).

I hope you have read the "Greed is good" article and realise that its not the Incarna expansion or the CQ that the vast majority of people are complaining about?
If you have fair enough your entitled to your opinion as am I. If you haven't please do so and see if you feel the same.

Since when have they not extended the extended downtime during an expansion deployment? Wasn't really around during the deployment but I heard it wasn't that long (secondhand information, if you know it not to be true, feel free to correct me).
