"The company is run by a board consisting of 7 people: Vilhjßlmur ¦orsteinsson (chairman), Birgir Mßr Ragnarsson, David Fialkow, Sigur=ur +lafsson, Stephen Wieck, Reynir Har=arson and deputy board members: Reynir Har=arson and Isaac Kato.[20]" I've found David Fialkow and he has kindly provided a way to contact him. And i think Sigur=ur +lafsson is here Let's see if we can't find some of the others to get the community's message to CCP's board directly. We know the devs are on our side for the most part, but management isn't. Thanks Shival Tornet for this idea -------------------------------------------------- The drake is a lie

Xercodo Amarr Daj'Juntar	Posted - 2011.06.25 03:57:00 - [5] bump again i send a nice long email to one of the board members i includinf a link to the threadnaught a link to that website describing former devs' issues with CCP and its management and a link to the spreadsheet that was keeping a total of all the account lost and then made sure to be clear to do what ever he can with the other board members to save EVE, even if it means dropping DUST and WoD and replacing all of the higher up management. or even selling the IP to another more able game company just whatever they do, the player base is not going to let EVE die quietly -------------------------------------------------- The drake is a lie

The only thing that it might do , is that if 6 months from now you prove right they -might- remember that someone warned them about it first. Of course by then they'll have attributed the idea to their own mind out of habits of ego and thing "I knew this would happen" ; ) i'm thinking you're taking it a lot over the top. ... just go play another game for a month or two and see if you feel like coming back then or not and whether enough other people did what you did to catch aanyone's attention with log in numbers.

This is the board of a corporation that probably grosses around $60MM (American). That's not large. The company I work for grosses about a quarter of that with 50 employees and it's run by two partners. This isn't Exxon. These board members aren't making so much money that they have their own Amarrian pleasure slaves. They also invested in a COMPUTER GAME COMPANY. That's not historically a successful endeavor. It's much more likely that these are individuals who have a love of some kind for computer games. I think this is a great idea.

These people want to know how it will affect bottom line 2) Keep it factual 3) Clear, concise messaging will provide motivation for action - what action do you expect to come from this? 4) Be passionate without getting emotional 5) Tell them what you will be talking about, then tell them and end by summarizing 6) Disclose sources of reputable information (factual) relating to the information Just remember, these people will have had an overview of Eve at a board meeting and there is a high possibility that it is one of 100s of projects that they support and finance.

I would recommend e-mailing or even snail mailing these people as a phone call might just annoy them however that may be a good thing in the fact they then chew on the CEO for making customers so upset they did enough research to be able to ring their phone. Even if people are perfectly polite and reasonable in the approach, there isn't really any way that being contacted by large numbers of unhappy people in your own home can fail to come across as intimidating and that isn't fair, especially to their families. If people are going to be contacting board members or investors on a more conventional basis it's probably worth suggesting that we can increase the strength of our arguments by pointing towards as much evidence of independent reporting on this possible, especially if/when it starts attracting commentary outside of the video game press.
