Oh neat! lets suggest CCP prioritize ship graphics, cause we all know how important that is to them right now. In chronological order of the past 2 years for the art department / janitorial team
1. T3 ships (just awesome looking)
2. Scorpion ( <-- when they said they were to start updating ship graphics about Feb 2010)
3. Primae (awesome)
4. Reskinned Noctis
5. Maller
In between we go the Zephyr, Echelon, planets updated, and Barbie in Space locked into one room. Lets not forget the art contest or 2 where CCP would use player submited content to at some point in EVE (with no date set) and 1.5 months before last expansion release, we find out they updated Turrets of all things when you can't even really see turrets unless you zoom in and no one suggested that unless you consider the whines to make missile launchers have turrets.
So, recap: In 1.5 years since they admited that T3 was a huge update to the graphic engine and the scorpion was the first we got to gander at, they remolded exactly one old ship recently the Maller and a handful of special event ships that spawn a 2 week orgy of destruction while people fly and get them popped before the novelty wears off with the Primae being outed by standard industrials in effectiveness, the Noctis was just reskined, and the Echeleon has no real use as standard T1 scan ships with code breakers work while the Zephyr at least has NPC stealth ability when it probes in wormholes.
And everyone gets exited at the thought, when I at least expected CCP to start releasing half a dozen models each expansion since the Scorpion was changed. Perhaps with the dozen other Nullsec threads now pinned in the Suggested Feature we are giving a clue where CCP's priorities are right now, we can expect with good odds possibly one christmas gift ship by the end of the year and a dozen new over priced NeX clothing items if the art department has enough time between stripping and waxing the floors.

Yeah, I am really bitter. One ship released last expansion and the turrets no one asked for!!! We can see CCP is concerned more with DUST and Worlds of Darkness while using EVE as the test bed for pretty vampire graphics, walking in station will only be useful in Jita which will lag like crazy while no one will frequent the other thousands of little used stations through out EVE.

Oh, then you confirm that CCP doesnt have the time or care enough to bother improving old ship graphics, even thought they said they would start improving all of them in a slow process 1 expansion at a time. Thanks CCP! You are the best!
To the guy doing the model remakes on your own time, hope you are getting compensated for working off the clock!
