Ombeve was the first resource I found for eve, and I still have 6 years worth of marked up and coffee stained printouts detailing my plans, ideas, successes and failures for every day of those six years.

Flew with Ombey in UK. Was good times and we had the best tactical maps ingame :)

This needs quoting. The $99 thing, the leaks, the course CCP is taking. It's folks like Ombey that have made EVE into what it is, mostly because CCP themselves were too inept to produce it themselves. There's many folks like that, just think about how EVE could have survived without eve-search, eve-agents, EVEmon, EFT and dotlan and the likes.

Ombey - There are only a handful of community members who have attained universal respect and you are in this elite group. Your maps made EVE possible for me back in the early days of 2006 and I've been using them ever since. Thanks for all the updates over the years! Fly safe!

Ombey's map set is one of the things that got me hooked on eve.
It was like seeing the maps in final fantasy 1, where the game felt so deep (for the time)
It was magic time again!
