I am not going to be saying anything regarding the recent leaks and devblogs that CCP has released. Instead I will try to say something which I think has been neglected in sake of the view of whats happened in the past, and what we are sadly seeing happening in front of our eyes. Eve-Online has always been game unline any other MMO's in the market. A single-sharded universe, diverse platform uniting pirates, industrialists, mission runners, explorers and warlords alike. This whole universe has gathered people in hopes of dreams of a game, that would not be chained down, given unlimited options and chances to gain riches, and experiences unlike any other game has offered. And because of those given reasons, Eve-Online community has grown and voted CCP's crownjewel Eve-Online the numerous prizes that they have won in the past. Below are just the few most notable. 2005 MMORPG.com Best Graphics, Best PvP, Favorite Company, and Reader's Choice Best Game 2006 MMORPG.com Favorite Graphics, Favorite PvE, Favorite PvP, Favorite Story, and Favorite Game 2009 MMORPG.com Game of the Year 2010 MMORPG.com Game of the Year Those awards would have not gone to CCP without us, the players, and because of the Community, EVE has evolved into a amazing game, with superior community that has done alot of work without pay to make the game better and more enjoyable to us all. To name just few tools and sites that the community has produced: http://evemaps.dotlan.net/ http://www.ombeve.co.uk/ http://www.jitonomic.com http://eve-kill.net/ http://griefwatch.net/ And many many others. Now the community is in turmoil, this has happened due a string of disappointing patches, lack of communication from the upper management of CCP, and straight forward ignoring of CSM and the general community opinions, and most recently the so called, microtransactions. I see alot of opportunities with microtransactions, but also a way to destroy the very essence of what Eve-Online Community was striving from, the unlimited opportunities within the boundary of the game rules, the sandbox of a game, where no outside influence would make difference. A set of boundaries that would limit us all to a degree and make the game the game that we loved and liked to play. Us the Community are what Eve-Online is. Without us, Eve-Online will die, there wont be linked killboards, there wont be maps of universe all the time updating to the sovereignty, there wont be market tools like Jitonomic, and lastly and most importantly, there wont be the enjoyment of flying the spaceships together to shoot people and to have the accomplishments of gaining power. To sum it into a sigle sentence: Without us, you have nothing but a shell, a skeleton of a game, game without a soul. CCP, if you are going to continue this road, I warn you. You will lose your soul, your very foundation, us, the community. Without us, you have nothing, you will wither and die, slowly for sure, but eventually there is the end. When this happens, you will be remembering all these posts, you will see the error of your ways, and think "Why didnt we just go as we were, and listened to our hearts." There is always ways to make money from the microtransactions. Many which the community probably would gladly pay for. You just need to communicate, make polls, do surveys and make sure, that those decisions are in line with; what the community wants from you. Being stubborn wont do you any good. It will just make you regret the opportunities that you didn't take. Yours, Shivalla

The store has nothing of interest to me yet either, if it gets something worth getting a plex, I will get a plex. The current commanders quarters are a waste of time right now and I would have rather they just waited for full station walking. I imagine some of the raging has to do with having to cough up some cash for a video card that has shader 3.0. Have you priced those cards? They are cheap. Sure they are not the super duper pwn machines that some people have but they will allow you to play. Quit being a cheap crying little ****, buy a video card, go gank some hulks or noobs and feel better about yourselves. Or you can quit EVE and give me your stuff. If I missed something, cuz I could be completely off in my assessment of the situation. Feel free to let me know. Have a nice day, DP

My gaming community is more important than lining the pockets of CCP directors and shareholders. I don't have any interest in seeing my corpmates get disheartened and turned off by the unimaginably rude and idiotic response CCP has given thus far, and the mechanations of Hilmar behind the backs of the CSM and the rest of the game is entirely bad. All you had to do was answer one question CCP, but you refused to answer it. We're still waiting. Are non-vanity items going to be introduced for creation via premium store?
