if true else (false) denial.
there is no denial. What now? do you also have to read books of Anatomy too, before eating, breathing, seeing, feeling, thinking?
You assume that the people at CCP are so stupid that they would willingly destroy the sandbox. They are not dumb people.
That they have yet to deny (which you wouldn't believe anyhow, because of your nerdrage), is not confirmation of anything.

You have a linky for the "missing 6 pages"?
Here: http://www.mediafire.com/?ccl135embyb6c2v
Ummm, both of the copies i have match your link. Eve-News24 may not have printed them all, but both of my downloads (yours today) and the one from the Eve-News Linky, are the same....

The 5 stages of grief are: 1) Denial 2) Anger 3) Bargaining 4) Depression 5) Acceptance
Most of us are at stage 2. The most advanced of us who unsubbed have already moved on to stage 5. You're stuck at stage 1, please get with the program and move on to at least stage 2.

That's what we were talking about. Eve-news24 did cut out some of the fluff initially. Most of the people heard the news after initial release, and ended up seeing the full issue without seeing the concise version. Now you see what it is.

Give them a chance to do so. There is little point communicating with a bunch of raging 5 year olds. Wait until they tire themselves out and have a more reasonable disposition.

EN24 creates a whole hush-hush subterfuge about it all, adding fuel to the fire they wanted to create, passwording files, and stripping out content.

Their "leak" of the Fearless document was edited and removed the most important part of the document, the disclaimer.

CCP confirmed the PDF is legit.
Also, Navigator in a very sneaky way also confirmed that the email is also legit by locking a thread while saying "It is against the forum rules to discuss internal correspondance."
This whole episode is a bunch of idiocy, the negative publicity on a lot of the interweb gaming sites will do damage. They won't remember Incarna for the pretty walking around, people will remember CCPs response and actions in the last few days when Dust and WoD come around.
Edit: Considering CCP is still skirting around the non vanity MT items, it isn't easy to think of much else than they're planning it / very seriously flirting with the idea.

At this rate you won't need to worry about that they'll probably not be that many left.
Anyway CCP had plenty of time to respond they chose to stir the discontent up then stay silent. They only have themselves to blame regardless what else transpired after that.

So how many molecules was Eve University paid to start shilling for CCP?
Unless you have direct access to the email, meaning you are an employee of CCP or a very very close friend, you are trying to cause misdirection. Either way it is very telling that members of Eve University are shilling for CCP and trying to "help" new players. I guess this is a second prong attack from CCP, they know they can't stop the older players from leaving but they can use the helpful teachers at Eve university to indoctrinate them to the new way of thinking.

I wonder if we could get timestamps, down to the second, of when those two tweets were posted. It'd certainly help us figure this out, since Manifest's tweet was not specifically stated to be in reply to the one on @evenews24.

I was reading Twitter live. CCP Manifest was referring to CCP Pann having a medical emergency in her family and was not referring to the e-mail.

Correct. CCP Manifest was commenting on his CCP Pann comment. If he'd been replying to EN24, he would have replied directly to them, which he did not.

Very few people have quit. Just because someone posts a screenshot of the Account Page or screams "I am quitting", do you honestly think many of them actually are?
WoW goes through similar nerdrage fests all the time. Their subscriber numbers are still stable. EVE Online nerdrage is no different.
Until CCP actually implements something concrete that the players will not stand for, few people are actually going to quit.

People really do need to question a 'news' group that changes a document entitled 'Greed is Good?' into 'Greed is Good!'. On top of that, they make and plaster their own logo of the changing of question mark to an exclaimation point all over their site.
This goes beyond just a simple mistake and poor journalism. There looks to be an alternate motive behind this, imo.
As much as I want a clear cut answer from CCP too..
I also, and everyone else should ask.. Why did you change that, EVENews24, and for what reason did you go about it in that manner?
Disagree if anyone wishes.. it really is in **** poor taste, really ****ty journalism, and shows complete lack of integrity. Who can any of you really trust? ---------------------------------------- Treat the EVE markets like you are its Pimp.. it is your 'willing' employee to fondle n use n abuse as you please. |

Have you ever heard the saying, "For every person that complains, many more can't be bothered."?
Sure, the numbers might not be high, personally I would have thought over 9000 replies in the threadnaught, and the negative publicity accompanied with "lol asbestos" replies from mods is just pathetic.

Most people who are level-headed are playing wait and see. No point quitting a game I love until there is HARD evidence that CCP intends to destroy it. So far, there has been no evidence of any such thing. There might be a few incoherent signs, but that doesn't add up to much until I see the Aurum roadmap actually implemented.
