...YOU are quoting a 2012 article....
Those are people who probably think earth was a flat disk and at the center of the universe aswell, though their might be a few canturies between even THAT change of view... Once you think you have it all, you-áhave actually become-áignorant towards everything else.

I was going to go off about rounding it up to 150 million meters, but then I read further in the article.
Also, who cares as far as EVE is concerned? It's an arbitrary number in the far future of another galaxy. Nothing Found |

Doesn't an AU change depending on season anyway?
I don't know these things because if it's not Eve (and sometimes when it is) space is boring "A genius throws a Molotov cocktail and soon realizes that he's going to die choking in a maze of smoke and flame. A hero drinks a Molotov cocktail and soon realizes that if he does a split in midair, he can hit twice as many zombies per kick. Drunk hero wins again, wusses." ~Cracked.com |

AU is the mean orbital distance, not the actual orbital distance. Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design. |

Somebody isn't paying attention to Eve rules either. Not surprising though. It is the greatest inequality to try to make unequal things equal. |

didn't anyone know.. it's the orbital radius of the only planet in the new eden system.
and if it is not. it should be. :P seems as good a place to get the eve AU from as any other.. :) |

^CCP you should do this when you make tool tips for measurements maybe even a short tech article to meet this month's quota :P

I,m not surprised that the new measurements are so good with laser tech and computers to do all the maths.

A real life AU may be 149,597,870,700 meters, but an EVE AU is what a BS warps in roughly 0.333 seconds. I play games for fun, evasion and reward.-áEVE is not fun, it sucks as much as reality and dismisses all my ways of playing it.
I think that I should unhook myself from that b*tch... Soon. |

The average eve-player probably doesn't even know what AU actually stands for. So it could be 500 million inches and they wouldn't know the difference.
If you're going to pick on scientific inconsistancies, start with planet/star age, temperature, mass, radius, pressure etc. I've come across gas giants that are thinner than Mars' atmosphere, and ice planets hotter than Mercury...As well as stars older than the age of the universe.
Also why is every single moon that boring shade of grey? I demand ice moons! |

I am going have to agree with nasa on this considering there are other 'planetiods' the same size or larger than pluto in the same belt this would also meanc ceres and its sister would be a planets as well making mars 6th from the sun. If it can't dominate its orbit then it shouldnt be a planet.
