Maybe they can't be arsed with all the idiots?
Discussion of the issues on one thread etc is good, completely acting like morons isn't. Take comfort in knowing that its probably some pimply faced twit, or 40 year old virgin, who gleens everytime mommy offfers to take them to needle point lessons |

1. Their a corporate entity. The CCP Janitor on duty can't answer the phone and make business decisions. If anything they want the PR people to rally, considering CCP Pann's crisis, before putting their foot in it anymore.
2. Are you that stupid? *******

I guess those 52 monocles have to be surgically removed from somewhere.
But i wouldn't put it behind CCP at this point to lie just about every single thing.

I'm sure that Pann's family emergency is legit.
The rest of the crew however? Apparently it's midsummersnight or some similar viking holiday so they're all on a 4-day bender. Far more important than saving their game.

Lol @ this neckbeard white knighting.
I'm obviously pointing out that, while CCP Pann is probably having a real issue, there are many other CCP employees that could have responded but just have not.

There are better ways to go about it than, attempting to poke fun at people that are having a real issue.
There are others that should & could have answered, that's an entirely different point & could have been raised in a far better manner.

And this is it. To the point. If CCP cant say a word without Pann holding their hand, why the **** they have 600 people on the payroll.
The CEO is clueless as they come. - wow we sold 52 monocles...win!!11!! Lead designer wouldn't know a game from his own ass. Zulu signed a blog so stupid that Bin Laden wouldn't put his signature on it from shame.
And one person that gave us a response (CCP Pann), did in fact gave an apology that they didn't give an apology sooner. Note the fact they didn't apologize for the CQ screw up, leaked internal info, about MT and the whole direction eve is going. "Sorry for not saying sorry sooner about the thing we are not sorry about."

Probably they dare not to work on weekends. Those hired staff ain't never be as dependable as good ole Minmatarr slaves. CCP Helmar: "this is one of the moments where we look at what our players do and less of what they say". Me: UNSUBBING NOW |

I think the point missed is we do not know the truth we have only what people have posted. I hope and believe ccppan has real issues to deal with, however can we trust what anyone from ccp says. we were told when ccppan had to leave that we would get a response (see page 11 of her post) and to the best of my knowledge this has not happened when the mod/dev said it would. So again no disrespect intended but how do we know this is truth and not a way out?

While i feel bad for CCP Pann and her kid and wish them well it was negligent and irresponsible of a CCP employee to throw out sensitive personal information like that on an EVE public discussion forum.

rl comes first and we all hope pann and her daughter are ok.
but do you really believe every ccp employee is at the hospital with them and the company is shut down until this matter is concluded? i dont know how many people work at ccp, but i have to assume its more than just 1. if theres only 2, then theres still someone sat at a desk, listening to the phone ringing, holding a bottle of scotch in one hand and a loaded revolver in the other, building up the courage to take action. one way, or the other. |

If Pann was not available to do the job (for very good reason), then whoever assigned her the job (i.e. her boss) has the responsibility to make sure it gets done. Either the boss takes up the job themselves, or assigns some other poor slob to do it.
Nobody took responsibility for the situation, and apparently nobody at CCP cared enough about Pann's situation to step in and help out. Sad.

Originally by: CCP Manifest Hey, I'll be tossing out some answers here as best I can as well, so forgive me for a second as there's a LOT of posts to digest in this particular thread and I'd like to get to as many as possible. I have been, along with MANY others at CCP, reading forums, Twitter, Facebook, blogposts, petitions, etc for some time now, so it's not like much of it will be a surprise, but still each person here deserves eyes on their post so here we go.
I also must emphasize that, as Pann said, we'll have a more "substantive" answer for you tomorrow "from CCP" on many of the things you guys are talking/questioning/legitimately complaining about... so I wanted to make that clear.
There have been a lot of meetings and, as I am sure you can all undertand, these aren't quite the easiest things to unravel, reravel etc.
Silence sucks, it's been too long.
so i guess the saying is true tomorrow never comes. CCP Manifest said he would answer question he has not a lie or a miss understanding

Could we please refrain from this kind of conjecture? it doesnt help the situation at all.
Stick to the issues at hand and leave their private lives out of it, its unecessary.

As is the ccp treatment of the players. I think people are asking more what can we believe and what can we not believe from those working for ccp I wonder if Hilmar Petursson remembers his quote ôThe evolution of EVE Online continues in large part because of the feedback we receive from subscribers |

tbh this is how I feel:
considering the leaked email were Hilmar says that player actions > words and all that, and also considering that somewhere in the discussion thread of the devlollog I saw a bluebar posting that "only me and the nightshift guy are here atm. you have to wait for monday." I can speculate that the CEO decided to call it a day after the devlollog posting and sent everyone home for the weekend except the 2 guys needed to monitoring the health of the servers, hoping that the devlollog was enough to quell the flames on the forum during the weekend and then they arived on monday to see the game working and the forums calmer.
speculation only, but it seems that it's how it goes atm. if it's true tho, then they really underestimated this. ---

CCP Pann's family emergency was just coincidence (I hope it is true, in these cases we're better off giving the benefit of doubt tho).
edit: better clarification
Ok i can accept that Please explain you thoughts on why CCP Manifest has not kept to what he said refer to my post up a little for what he said. Quickly put he said he or someone would respond the following day which would have been and gone by now.

boss said "STOP POASTING!" so he did? atm the forums are so wild that nobody can't do a thing about it, so I guess they thought that the best way to quench the fire is to let it burn itself out. ---
