Have we forgotten that Dust which will share our market will have non vanity items? How exactly this will effect our game is yet unknown to us.

Many years ago I remember a CCP who cared more about and loved their game than the bottom line. They were a business, and a successful one, but would never compromise the quality or integrity of their game for a fast buck.
Whatever happened to them?

Eve online, as it stands, is the best game out there. The incarna patch looks good even if it has performance issues. If some idiot want's to brag that he just spent $620 in real money on 10 virtual monocles, what do I care?
Like many other players, however, I'm waiting to see CCP's response with regard to the P2W question. I believe that once that's answered, one way or the other, the eve community will be settled. Either it will stand as is, or it will be left to the transient P2W clients.

Then don't pay for them. Either don't buy them at all or buy them with ISK.
I agree with this topic. I'm gone if people can buy an advantage over me.
But I LOVE EVE. I love this game, and I want it to continue and to be successful so it can keep improving and I can keep playing.
Call me crazy, but I LIKE Incarna. I'm a lorelol rpnerd inside, so I enjoy the immersion and stuff, and I know that it's going to be built on and improved and expanded beyond where it is now.
I WANT CCP TO DO WELL. BECAUSE THEN THEY KEEP MAKING THE GAME I LIKE. So, if they want to do this thing with vanity items, I say go for it. But not one slight advantage given to people who pay extra real money. Not even faction standings.
My point was, the sub fee should include the whole game. It's just wrong that ccp is now adding some "extra" you have to pay some extra to get. And if I'm not paying real money for the items, someone else is. It shouldnt be that way. I pay the sub because eve isnt some free-to-play MT circus.
The point is, we PAY already for the vanity items. Everyone of us is doing so. We pay the developement and the design, so it should belong already to us. That was the point of micro transactions! To pay for games that are free, so the developers get paid, but Eve is NOT free, so MT should stay out of it!
Everyone who thinks different is stupid. Just because some developers follow their greed and want to ripoff their customers does not make it the "future of MMOs". It will only happen if you accept it!

Or alternatively for the last four WE HAVE FIXED INCARNA.
Dammit CCP are so dumb that if they made CQ optional the rage wouldn't have been so bad, nobody can spin ships so they came to the forums instead.

You know you can buy the items in the NEX store with ISK right? Just buy plex and covert it to AUR.

I want more MT as I think its a great idea.
I want to see some more vanity items.
I want some implants that will help me train faster.
I want a mod to do more mining, add to my damage or increase my speed. Maybe all 3.
I want that ammo that really hurts.
I want a JF with more cargo space, a cloak and insta warp.
Please give me more stuff to buy, sell, steal, loot and make ISK.
Ignore the lemmings who think its their game, most are RMT bots anyway and pay with plex. F**k em and give me more bling.

I dont mind they selling monocles to silly players for a silly prize.
What i do mind is that you cant choose if you want be a part of this, and getting laughed at/ignored or even answered with a load of bull.... The first thing i think of when i read CCP staff posts is "chemical Ali" and thats not a good thing! I probably feel worse about it than CCP Hilmar does.
1. EVE players are probably smarter and older than the standard MMO players and they dont want to be treated this way! We see right trough the salesman crap. Be brave and honest and we will forgive you.
2. We want the option of not being part of EVE commercialism and ingame dolls! For us that dont want it so we dont need to see this crap everyday.
REMOVE the AUR from my wallet! I dont care as long as its all inside the NOBLE exchange shop, even if the name NOBLE on it is an insult in itself. you can scam stupid players inside there all you want for what i care as long as i dont need be reminded of it everyday by opening my wallet!
3. Give the option to not load stations and give the same or more functions for gameplay that you had before in the not loading station enviroment!
4. You will need to promise and say it fast that you will never sell game changing items in the "Noble shop" and that you will focus on fixing gameplay issues and balancing more than inventing new commercial ways to trick players in the near future!
If you tell me you will fix these issues for me. Then i will probably continue play EVE for a long time.

If they would have the aur wallet inside the shop it would be optional. the way it is now its just a constant reminder that annoy me everytime i open the wallet! thats NOT optional fool.
The same with hangars loading, when you get less tools than you had before a costly patch if you choose to not load it, you cant say thats optional.
With that reasoning everything is optional. like playing EVE that you already pay for or life itself..
