Ugliest? The Brutix, or most of the Gallente Fleet. The Raven is, as Vex pointed out, quite sexy. I also like the Scorpion. I have one small gripe, off topic. I wish we had some sense of scale as to ship vs pilot. The Raven seems huge. Do we have crews? If so, who are they? 'Insufficient data coming through' on this subject.

I once thought the Rifter was a darn sexy ship. I used to pan the camera around and admire it from different angles while docked. Then one day I aligned the camera such that the front of ship was pointed straight down and I was looking from top view. It looks like a pair of slacks on a clothes hanger!! Worse still, take a gander at the location of the c ockpit.... From then on I called it the C.0.C.K.pit ship...

Eve's ugliest ship hands down has to be the caldari shuttle. Everything else is themed somehow "amarr big gold sharp curves, caldari looks like birds, minmatar looks like a space heap, gal looks like green and blue frenchy stuff... but the caldari shuttle looks like a radio flyer with wings. I mean that thing is ugly. I actually buy other shuttles that cost MORE sometimes riduculous amounts just so I don't have to be seen in that ugly ass thing. |

'Prey looks like a bloated whale ..and the 'nix looks like some kind of nuclear accident shoe. :)

Hehe, a winner must be the Minmatar Bellicose, I think that ship must have been made after a good party where the designer got a few drinks too many ...that ship is a BIG JOKE :D

Gallente - The navitas
Amarr - The Augoror
Caldari - THE FEROX
Minmitar - err they aren't great looking generally
Tristan looks awesome, especially in the official screenies. Maulus, atron, thorax, vexor, brutix, catalyst, ares and taranis all look good. Kessies, merlins, caldari shuttles, scorps and raven are ok. All amarr ships are pretty good bar the Augoror. Im not so good on my minmitar ships, but they were made for convenience, not for looks.

Moa, Bantam, Badger, Tristan, and really quite a few of the frigs look ****y...
also some have graphical bugs.... like please for cripes sake fix the Omen's jet streamers so that they come off of the engines and not 3 meters below them!

All Caldari ships are pretty ugly in general. The Mimiatar are not much better, but at least they got that junk yard look that keeps them looking cool. For example, the tempest is by the ugliest BS, yet looks so damn cool flying around in a fleet. Proably because it is the tallest of them all and stands out.

Yes, the destroyers & BC's look very, very nice (except for the gallente nightmares).
Cormorant looks sharp as a razor... until you get to the tail end and there's this... projection sticking out the left side.

I really can't say much as to which ships look better or worse, as all the player ships tend to be ugly as roadkill skunkturds.
But good lord just reading what some of you folks have made comparisons to has me in complete stitches, I laughed so hard I had tears coming outta my eyes.

Along those lines. Ya think the Eve art dept had those sorts of comparisons in mind when they made these vomitous designs? 'Cause if they weren't stoned they were suffering from a serious case of Thorazine Overdose.

Bantam is definately the ugliest ship... it looks like someone designed a ship then at the last moment decided to add a cargo hold.
Ironically its name says it all... the cargohold is just a big set of udders.
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |
