Had a quick talk with the CSM:
I am asking everyone to do the following
1. cease fire FOR NOW
2. wait for infos from the CSM after the next weekend
3. Be ready to kill jita on the second of july if there happens something "unwanted"
I WANT TO THANK ALL WHO PARTICIPATED, IT WAS AWESOME TO SEE EVEN WAR TARGETS NEXT TO EACH OTHER, WORKING TOGETHER IN THIS SITUATION!

CCP gave us crap, they are able to deny that they won't be bought by Sony in no time. They should put up something up with a tiny bit of empathy.

I doubt the protest will survive that long anyway without a break, better take a break and go at it in full strength if they give a bad response.
Cancel subs and until the time is out and make sure jita is clogged.

I've pretty much been of the opinion that the CSM is just a PR thing and nothing more, but after listening to the EVE Radio interview with them I changed my mind... would say it's probably a good idea to just mail bomb the CSM with everything you want presented to CCP and hold off on any further actions until they have talked to the CSM.

Shooting the monument does only create a light show. Which in turn is good picture material for the presses to report with, which does have a effect on CCP through the reputation it creates. Ceasing fire right now will only reduce the significance of the issues as seen from outside sources.
Keeping the fire up will show that people will not just give up and go home at the first mentioning of a possible appeasement. It's a way of communicating with CCP through the game, beyond the forum.

CCP wants P2W because its the only way to increase revenue. They cant get more people to play it, so they need to make the people who play spend more money, or they cant get enough cash to fund whatever else they want to do.
Battlefield heroes proved that P2W does work in the west, and now CCP is going to do the same as BH did.
The only thing that might stop it, is if their beancounters tell them that the loss of subscriptions hurts more than the P2W will benefit them.
IF we force them to abandon their P2W strategy for EVE, what will happen is, that once their other P2W games gets done, they will focus less and less on eve, and more and more on their other cash cows. No more new stuff for EVE will be developed, when developers can focus on stuff for p2w games that will directly generate revenue.
Sadly I expect that EVE will go down the drain either through the p2w route or through getting ressources sucked out of it to boost the other p2w games ccp is cooking up.
Both my accounts expire in a couple of days, and are not getting renewed until this matter is resolved.
