However the number of players connected to our server has highlighted a previously unknown issue in the relay server to which every player is connected. The server team is working on fixing the issue as we speak, but for the time being a temporary limit on the user count has been set up. Once the current issue has been fixed we expect to be able to run without a user count limitation as this is not a hardware but a previously unknown software problem. (In fact most of the servers are running at 1-5% capacity except for the relay)
We ask that you bear with us during the coming days until we can resolve this issue.

In any event, coming from EvE it is nice to see Devs and GMs in the Help and general channels and being extra responsive to player base. I also like the mechanics of the game so far and the familiarity of it coming from that other MMO.
Good job. Keep on doing a good job and players will reward you with years of subscription fees!
Congrats CCP. You win the year of benevolent MMO games Company prize. Because of , You give your players to another MMO.

Yeah I made a character... fast download too I might add. I was impressed they had a GM in the chat channel.

there's almost always a gm or dev in the chat channel, and always willing to help or just hang out and chat. quite pro for a fairly new game

When people wake up from their EvE sleep. They actually realize how bad EvE is the last few years and how good alternatives there is out there. CCP did nothing for so long on EvE. Just milking the cash.

Just to mention, eve was like that at the very start too, we had devs/gms in local and help channels. Eight years is a long time though.
For now all I can say about ... online is that it's refreshing to see, but eve autocannons sound better than ... autocannons. Just saying :)

Really, play the other games first. They are eve-like in a way, and in 4-5 years will probably be great, but as of right now, they are lacking.

Kinda expect that from the game since it's still young. Doubt they are handling the same amount of petition load so kinda unfair to compare the two.
Other then that can't really say much else since I haven't put much time into it. --------------------------- We live to die another day.

main proplem is not GMs. Main proplem is CCP and EVE lost their players. And player leaving speed is very high. and new player register speed is low.

But the question is WHY is it that way? I mean as I said in another thread the MT's is an issue that I have seen over and over among the threads.
But Beyond that I haven't really seen much else. Yes I have seen all of the other stuff but what makes you trust those third party sites over an official site? I mean I can start up any third party site and start to write stuff true or not at this point and people might just EMORAGE all over it. This is why i'm confused on why people are leaving. There has to be something more then just the MT issue. Because frankly I like what I have seen. I won't be using the AUR stuff since I have no use for it but that kinda solves the MT problem for me. --------------------------- We live to die another day.

Well looks like they are taking some type of action since they are bringing in CSM and such. So they heard you now the question is what will they do.

It's not bound to happen. There is a lot of game companies who actually keeps working on their game years after the realease and never stop listening their fanbase.
Eve was one of them until a few years ago. They fell. Well, too bad for us.
Time to seek for another land.
8 years is not a bad score though
