In a game where everything has repercussions I find it odd, and incredibly annoying that people can probe out a mission wreck place, and go there, and even if the player is there doing the mission, they can begin salvaging what wrecks there are, without the player who the wrecks belong to can do anything about it..
Why when looting aother players wreck, gives the 15 min agro timer. Why does salvaging another players wreck not give this agro timer? I fail to grasp why this shouldn't happen, especially in a game like eve online.
Everyone knows that sometimes the salvage is worth more then the actual loot, yet its allowed. Everyone knows that in eve there is risk and consequences to everything you do, except this.
Especially the second reason is the one that boggles me, stealing things right under another players nose? without consequences? Concord is ingame supposed to be the police of eve, and they allow/encourage people to salvage other players stuff? that doesn't make any sense.
CCP allows it, for what reason? to give people a way to freely annoy others? I don't get it?

I have no issue with allowing those willing to stoop to such levels to sort through my refuse. In fact I am grateful for those willing to pick up such an occupation - keeping our space relatively free of debris. Now if we only had a solution to keep them out of sight as well.

Well if you don't want your salvage, you can always abandon the wrecks, allowing anyone to take them. However I find salvaging to be quite profitable, AND those that get free salvage definitly profit from it, and don't even risk anything doing so.

Either salvage them yourself or hail the person doing the salvage and sort it out diplomatically, I know as someone who does little but clean up battlezones after my corpmates and allies, if someone offered me as much salvage as I could take so long as I split the profits 50/50 I'd jump at the chance. They get to salvage, you get half the ISK, everyone wins.

I do salvage myself, however the problem is that people warp in while i'm doing the mission still and begin salvaging.
