It was a good timing to realize that there were some issues including real life complication.

What sort of compensation are you currently offering investors for this?
The first month will be paid full 15% interest, I do not think anyone is going to loose anything at this point. And principal is coming up.

However, as someone who has put his money where his mouth is (in this and other 10 investments) and as investor, I feel like to say this:
You are doing it bad at flaming him like that.
Yes, you are taking your (petty imho) revenge for his past schooling he did for several other people.
But doing this, you are greatly discouraging future defaulters from acting honestly.
Basically anyone seeing this beating will just decide not to default and go all out to scam, because he won't see any benefit at being honest and admit he just failed. This will be bad, because in most cases of default it's possible to save / recover part or all of the principal. Yet, if the investee is pushed into scamming ("they are going to torch me like I scammed anyway") the principal is irrimediably lost.
I'd have actually preferred if someone a la Hexxx would have prepared a "Chapter 11 template" or similar, in order to have the full compendium of doc templates for investments. This would have been the constructive way to extract something good even for something that did not end well.
Ye good point, there are some people that went too aggressive about it.

You further violated the terms of agreement with the purchase of a new character. You explicated stated that ôà planning to maintain just one character over the life of this bondö
Using the bond holderÆs ISK to purchase a new character, and then claim you donÆt have the ISK to pay them is considered a scam.
Ermm he is simply stopping the bond not because he ran out of cash but because of real-life and constraints on playing eve. So which part did he scam ?

Originally by: Liberty Eternal if it comes to it, I will be prepared to sell my character to meet compensation commitments.
Then go ahead and sell it and meet your finacial obligations.
His obligation will be met when 15% interest is paid out plus principal of the first month of the bond, after that he is not going to use our money...
He can not do trading right now so he is quitting it for time being...
I do not believe he stated in the bond that HE WILL NEVER CANCEL IT.
