@CCP why to go Bankrupt cause of Wod and Dust???
Are there any concrete reasons behind this whole mess?
Should have stayed with EVE for financial stability at least. It's common sense folks.
PS. Whats going to happen to the game if CCP goes caput?

There are some things to worry about but if they did go to bankruptcy court eve would be fine.

Yes.
They¦ll most likely get refinanced. And when not then comes bankruptcy and idealy the debtors would not kill a "golden goose" like this game. Even if it¦s a comparably small goose.
The ones who should really start sweating are our poor Devs.

I just tripped over a statement somewhere that CCP got merged or got together with some wolf or whatever company, now when was that and what's it was all about?

Step 1. Don't gouge your community Step 2. Cancel the inevitable failure that is Dust (I believe that they cannot cancel WoD?) Step 3. ??? Step 4. PROFIT!

I think they are actually stuck with two games that they cant cancel. They cant **** sony off. And WOD is going to be a cash cow if it comes out.
They put themselves in a bad spot with overreach.

Well IMO they went developing pretty much 3 games, a task that behemoth like Blizzard will do but you can not compare the success of the games involved.

To be fair, White Wolf (who is now with CCP) is developing World of Darkness. CCP's core development teams have been working on EVE and DUST 514.
As far as CCP's future goes, I hope it's bright, because I don't want EVE or CCP to disappear anytime soon.

White Wolf is the company that published WoD stuff for years and years.
And I wouldn't worry about CCP tanking. This really isn't as big of a deal as people are making it out to be.

I like the WoD IP. I won't play the MMO, but CCP isn't going to kill it after they already merged with White Wolf and have done the development they already have.

History seen greatest downfalls. But I'd expect the IP to be sold with rights to run the game, and SOMEONE will carry on with it. We might just be better off with it. -- I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Threadnaughts on fire off the shoulder of Orion... |

All I can say is: when you all lose your precious game, you will think back to how much chit talking you did this week, and how your reactions caused a chain reaction that spread like wildfire, which led to your loss.
It pains me to see a community make so much of a fuss over a misinterpreted game mechanic, that it reaches global gaming publication headlines. That alone can kill any game. *shakes head*
Bunch of counteractive, hypocritical, two faced, conniving kids whom ultimately threaten the very people who provide you the service you so passionately love.
Make me sick. EVE. The most ambitious project on earth. |

like SOE? i'm not convinced that would be a good idea. even if the rumors lately are denied by ccp i'm not convinced it might not happen though. Smed at soe made some interesting comments recently about their future involvment in "sandbox" titles. that, ccp's recent insanity crisis with the cash shop and the fact dust is PS3 exclusive makes me wonder if this may be more reality than ccp's willing to admit.

Gonna have to agree with this. To all the protestors giving eve a bad name on numerous game site, and possibly denying eve new players which may give CCP some much needed income, hope you are proud of your protest achievements. Hope you remain proud if there is a chance eve online is gone because you overreacted over something imaginary.
As for me, if eve is gone, I'll just play another game. But I don't know how you obsessed people can manage.

For the last time. Dust is PSN exclusive because XBOX Live is too rigid. It would _not_ work with EVE, thus Dusts primary bullet point, that it interacts with the EVE shard would be lost and it would get yet another lame FPS. So either CCP could go to the XBOX, in which it is guaranteed to fail because its yet another generic FPS among dozens, or CCP could use PSN/PS3 and try to carve a new niche. Get with the program sheeple.
