There's any number of fully-finished, F2P games out there I can play for that, and realising that they have no real depth or "staying-power," I can walk away from anytime with minimal worries. This just feels like being hit on by the local bar-slags who found out you're single again...Only they don't realise that that is so because your wife's died. PVP'ers are already moaning about the current fleet lag now try to add splash damage on top of that. Would be cool tho. Now imagine if a cap did splash damage too when it dies.

You must be one of the massivest carebears I have ever had to read words from. Perpetuum fixes blobbing in a way I originally suggested to CCP back in 2006 when they still listened to their players. It has some balance issues to iron out (especially thanks to the influx of eve-players who are used to dealing with broken code. Try comparing eve in 2003 on launch alongside perpetuum as it is launched right now and I think you will realise that it has a lot of promise. Since when did you ever see a CCP DEV tag in your private chat channel outside of a node reinforce clustermug? ~~~
