It's way past the time for NDAs by now. If they can't talk openly about what's going on then what good does it make to have the CSM over there?
Besides, we are talking about the future of EVE's content and support here, not about their salaries or private corporate account balances. |

I don't buy this secretive crap in any way, shape, or form. If CCP (or CSM for that matter) is ashamed of what they have to say, what their opinions are, then I think that's a pretty good indication they should reconsider their point of view.
If CCP wants microtransactions--cause it will save them finanically, because it's the hottest idea on the block right now, whatever--they should be secure is saying so. The truth is mightily powerful, and helps create, maintain, and in this case restore trust.
Whatever CSM has to say about this should equally not need to be hidden.

NDA does not mean diddly squat in this case. If CCP reveal to someone with the time, resources and competence to use any information, then they will be laughed out of any court that will hear the case.
If you must shove a contract in someoneÆs mouth use a Covenant Not To Compete (Non-Compete) agreement.

Why can't they speak their mind if they are live? And is not like the issues are that profound to require such a surgical approach... unless they are hiding something. |

This meeting should definitely be recorded and made public.
Also, last CSM should be offered the chance to participate via skype or whatever.
Last CSM should have their NDA revoked by CCP.
If this CSM were serious, they'd be in here telling us what THEY think, what specific steps THEY think CCP needs to take and what THEY will consider a successful outcome. But unlike the last CSM, they care more about free trips to Iceland than about EVE.
