My car takes it a step further. In order to acquire a soul, it eats orphan children and uses their souls as fuel. Very efficient, rarely have to stop for gas.

Edited by: neewar on 03/07/2011 02:58:03 It is, as long you go with very light foot on gas when the road is wet .... Or it could drastically decrease the "align time" of the vehicle , as tested couple of times :D

so it handles nicely
you can't expect much out of a car where the only "control devices" you have is ABS and power steering ---

I have a Retriever named "66 Catalina" and if you put wheels on a Megathron, I'm sure you end up with the Bat-Mobile.
As for Corvettes, they are the Sports Car Standard, that all other manufacturers work against. Many cars are close, some are better, but not as many as you might think.
I think the last year of "Classic" Vettes was '72' (2 Chrome Bumpers)
These days, my favorite car is gonna have the name "SHELBY" on it.

By track do you mean going round and round on an oval track or something with both left and right corners?

Anyway While a Vette is an awesome car and id never turn down a chance to drive one...
I would say the best road car is a Cadillac DTS sedan. you set the cruise control for that baby up on the freeway and you will never know you are doing 20+ over the limit. its the perfect road trip car because of massive comfort. Currently I love my 2000 Impala up on the turnpike because it rides so nice. granted its no sports car, but a nice non bone jarring ride is always better when you have to drive for more than an hour or two.
Of course if you get the DTS remember you are getting a car that is like piloting a Charon(and has about equal trunk space to a Charon, ask anyone whos owned or rented a caddy, they will tell you those things have massive cargo holds). but the ride down the interstate cannot be beat.

It will also drink fuel like a battleship and has around the same stopping distance No if going for luxury I would get a Jaguar XF.
But for now I'll stick with my little Citroen C3 turbo diesel. It is comfy on long journeys, nippy and gets an average of 65 MPG which goes up to 120 MPG on the motoway. I only need to fill it up once a month dispite forever being the family taxi and going to work
I do however lust over the citroen DS3.

Citr÷en DS3 Racing
altho I still don't know how the **** did they manage to put that car pulling over 200bhp on the front wheels.
200bhp is pretty much the uppermost limit you can put on a FF car and still manage to control it within standart levels.
anything else above that and you need to start doing some serious work on the suspension, like having a distance to the ground of 3 sheets of paper and suspension harder than diamonds ---
