So people that unsub, that have time left on their accounts, that care about the future of the game - enough so to riot, are now to simply walk away? I'll 'riot' till my time runs out. Hopefully it gets resolved, if not, you won't have to put up with myself and many others.
If you don't like this, please contact Pitchforks Inc. They're always happy to not take your call.
My faith in CCP will return SoonÖ We'll watch what you do not what you say.

I'm going to protest my account until it runs out. I care about eve, I just don't don't want to play a game that a mockery of the gaming world. The last dev blog has me at 30% chance to resub. Lets see if they can't get it higher.
and no obviously it's not about my sub alone.

personally i can't be a$$ed to log in but I'm glad you guys are doing something in-game.
edit; Mother Moon, I'd say I was a 1% chance to re-sub. maybe less, i doubt CCP can ever get this foul taste out of my mouth.

Yeah they wont have accurate data until the subs run out. So they will think things are OK based on a metric that is not accounting for the fact people are just playing until time runs out.
But they got their heads in the sand anyway. So its not like it matters.

CCP calling us out was only the 2nd thing that kicked this whole thing up a notch way in the beginning.
Server pop already shows pretty depressing numbers for the first week after their big summer release, and extra amusing when you look at sections like the massive number of disconnects immediately following Zulu's followup devblog on Sunday, as everyone who was online and raging went off to do other things.
But in terms of watching trends the server pop stats aren't nearly as important as the number of active subscriptions, and if CCP isn't hilariously $1000 pants-on-head incompetent then those are the numbers they'll be watching. They'll be able to notice the increase in subscription renewal reminder emails going out (already got my first one) and how many of them end up expiring.
Or they'll look and they'll see a true vocal minority that's all full of steam, which way it goes remains to be seen.

OP has this weird idea that if you cancel your payments (or decide to not use plexes anymore) your account immediately closes down. I guess OP isn't too smart.

Not really very accurate, the server is as busy as always. Those unhappy with recent issues have made absolutely no dent or impact on the games population. You represent 1 maybe 2% of the population, so you arnt going too in a months time either.

OP had some logic. Yes, its the cancellations that CPP will be watching, but also if players online falls off or even stagnates immediately after a major release that is not a great sign either. Since I for example have barely logged in since, and I have 5 months before my account runs out - so I'M keeping my eye on what happens. _______________________________________________ Top 10 things I hate in these forums. *snip* -Oi mod |

Though I might not have been keeping very well updated for some time fail to see why people are getting su upset about. THis game is better now than it ever was before, atleast in my humble opinion. Runs smoothly, looks awesome and tickles my imagination every time i log on.

Dear naive fools, I canceled my subscription the weekend just gone, and I wholeheartedly encourage you to check and see if I'm still here in 45 days. Do you have the guts to take a stand and follow through?
And no - you may not have my stuff. a) I still hold out a slim hope CCP will make Eve great again, so I can return after a break I intend to use trying other games (assuming one of them doesn't grab me in the way Eve once did), and getting on top of long neglected RL projects. b) I don't give my stuff away to jackasses like the OP. -- Frog blast the vent core! |

I only hope CCP run a correlation between monocle sales and accounts canceled before they draw any conclusions. Regardless, I find your last use of your ISK to be an amusing one. You are perhaps the only monocle owner I've met that I haven't wanted to instantly pod. -- Frog blast the vent core! |

My first account runs out today...
My second I have 10 months to go.... I'd love a refund on my time purchase.. but seen as "Greed Is Good" thats not going to happen.. Therefore I still log in and protest until it runs out. Why should i not do so.. I've paid for the time.

I have quit one account and have another 3 waiting to see their response to the issues of development resources, cq and microtransactions outside vanity items.
