People registering and the Perpettum people forget to answer their emails to give them the activation link. Try with a better game next time.

It also happens that a lot of the things I hate about eve exist purely to combat lag, and perpetuum is made by a small indie company. You do the maths

No going nuts because I didn't have any skills loaded. I can save up and spend at my convenience as opposed to trying to manage my training queue. I played the game at launch and just resubbed and the Dev's have improved a lot of the game. The fact that they take a personal interest in gamer satisfaction is a big bonus with me. Remember when EvE was like that? I miss the warm fuzzy, but now it's all about the money shot right? =P

So the "innocent" game at a bare minimum gets an injection of a few thousand dollars.

I wholeheartedly agree with his post. Most of the EVE refugees who left don't have an objective view of the matter and are simply saying stuff, unknowingly, to spite CCP. In short; Perp cannot survive in the long run by simply copying EVE memes. CCP sustained itself for the long run because of creativity and innovation as one of the ultimate sandbox MMOs. And yes, CCP screwed up big time with the recent fallout but given all that, there is still nothing even close to competition in this market for EVE. Personally I prefer the eve chat box method over the WoW-Esque version. Though, it is possible to have the slashtag version and have different windows for different chats, so I guess in the end I'd be neutral.
