I don't see how buying something you want counts as being fleeced?

Originally by: Sylthi Well, as it so happens, I ALREADY (very symbolically and ironically) took an extra $60 I had laying around and bought a DIFFERENT game with it.
Seriously, I did. I had been holding off on the purchase of a specific title for a while because I wasn't sure it was going to be worth my time and/or money. But, since this DISGRACE with CCP, I bought it just for the satisfaction of giving the money to a DIFFERENT gaming company; one that is actually deserving of my money.
And, the way CCP is going, it is looking like I may have a lot more of my "fun money" (as I call the fund that is my "entertainment" money) freed up soon. Not that I'm going to quit the game, though that may happen soon too if CCP doesn't get it's shyt together FAST. But, I deffinately won't be paying them when the servers go dark because CCP is out of business. Don't think that they can't go under from this (in spite of the incoming flames from the trolls and dev alts haunting the forums lately). I have seen bigger companies fail with less cause.
But, who knows, maybe the Monocle morons will buy enough of those ugly things and keep CCP afloat that way. That would be cool. Then maybe CCP would stop trying to squeeze the rest of our wallets and be happy with the money they get from those idiots.
Anyway, I think that covers your question.
Cheers mate for a fun thread.
Sod it i've had enough my accounts have already been unsubbed and ive just uninstalled eve. *******s to you CCP there are other games to play.

If both parties are happy with the result of a transaction, can't see the problem. In every transaction, the individuals involved both value what the other has more than what they have themselves, otherwise no transaction would take place. who are you to judge what others find value in?
I have some imaginary magic beans would you like to buy them ?
I'll do them to you at the low low price of $1000 because i like you and the only reason i want to sell them is i need a new pair of Japanese pants. About these protest CCP
