I'm just looking for some ideas, if you didn't unsub try to be serious at least. Should I support the new players like I always have or lookup old friends? I'm also wondering which one would hurt CCp more. I'm not very certain I want to help them or that they are teachable enough to be taught a lesson. Should I convert it to isk, plex aurum or monocles, minerals. What would hold value, whats imbalanced, I'm thinking monocles should head down cause if you study the currencies as a derivative, we're unbalanced by a couple hundred million. Veldspar seems nice. I could go on but I'm looking for some ideas.

If you are a disciplined person, keep your stuff.
If you are an undisciplined person, biomass yourself, but first buy the most expensive ship you can afford, and self destruct it.

everyone will re-sub
there's only a few ppl that gave there stuff away, they were either probably doing this:
1) using this nerdrage as an excuse to 'finally' quit 2) only giving away 1% of their stuff. 3) wanted to get 'known' by making a nerdrage im quiting thread & not following thru with it.
plex your account & keep playing. _________________________________________________

Most veteran EVE players are gonna quit as well, so careful which old friends you look up, if they choose to continue to play.
Newbie players are not that aware of what's going on; once P2W is introduced, they'll probably either join the flock or simply quit the game.
The one thing that'll hurt CCP most is: Sell all your assets, buy as much PLEX as you can and wait for the subscription to end or reprocess that character, along with it. |

Thanks goo guys
I will soon be opening the 'Hai Boiz Palace of Pleasure and Pain'.
I find I'm a little short of ISK for some of the more specialized equipment that I need imported. One on-the-house universal for any donations over 100m. I look forward to pleasing you.

If I leave completely I was thinking of giving it to Tom for all his weird sense of humor threads. But as he says he's leaving I've decided to do it a different way, which, I'll keep to myself for now.

If you unsub on principal - why would you give stuff away?
It would be rewarding all the lame ass players who dont share your principals.

What's new about that, you can't force someone to share your principals or ideas. That does not necessarily make them a bad person.
So if I'm leaving even if it's on my principals, why should I worry if it goes to someone with a different view point.

Keep your stuff. I'm assuming that you actually like Eve like the rest of us, so keep it in hopes that CCP regains their sanity. It would suck for them to figure out the right course of action and then be left with nothing when you decide to come back. - His name was John Turbefield!

hence the reason for the post. CCP owns my soul. Biomass my character??? I think I will go into delirium tremens when I shut down my skill que. The main reason I don't like null is cause its hard to run +5's. I might have to roll around on the floor and convulse if I biomassed.

Personally I wouldn't dream of biomass my characters. Unsubbing my 4 accounts is an act of protest, voting with my wallet. Staying unsubbed will deny CCP money. Biomassing my characters will only hurt myself if I ever decide to come back, there is no additional value lost for CCP.
I will keep an eye on EVE even after my last account expire in august, but whether I will return or not is ofc entirely up to CCP. I love the sandbox game of EVE, and would I hate to see it destroyed. So I do whatever i CAN do to make my point. But in the end, the ball is in Reykjavik.

If I quit eve I would give away the following To Entity - EC II bpo, and 17 Aurora S bpo's (My little collection) To a Corpie of mine... The rest of my tech2 bpo's with the exception of 50mm plate II.
I would sell all of my characters except for deo1, 18 or so in total.. And find someone who would *** *** ** *** *** via ***-*** or something like that... I would leave about 5bn in corp wallet to keep my offices for the next few years in case I wanted to return.
Most of my tech1 bpo empire would remain, so I could restart if I ever wanted to join again. With one account I would randomly contract crap to people I dont like, later sending in a petition that day saying my account had been stolen, and assets moved off of it.... Let some of those guys get banned for a change.
My 9bn trit would go to an alliance member, He's in amarr, so I would like to help him get a stockpile of mins greater than chribbas.
Everything else would remain on me, until the end of time......

PLEX are IOU's.
If you grab as many as you can and relist them at high prices (800m?) it make it so CCP has an outstanding IOU and the active players have to spend a lot to get it.
Otherwise, do nothing. If you give your stuff away, all the content you generated lives on.

I am gonna hang on to my stuff. And just wait till ccp gets all the pieces in place . For their new " Eve Secret World in Space " game, so I can come back and set up a weapons shop, selling cool Merc weapons ; with the good stuff in the back room , if you know what I mean .

My stuff will just sit there, quietly gathering dust until I feel the game is one I want to play again, and I really hope that day comes, or CCP turns off the server.
My whole alt corp mothballed, my trade goods still sitting in station until the day the game interests me again. The whole shebang ready to go IF...big IF
CCP regains my trust. Two weeks till sub runs out, and ive not logged in about a week as it is.
I hope to come back. I just sincerely doubt it.

I unsubscribed shortly after my last renewal, so I've got plenty of time to decide, but right now I'm leaning towards liquidating all my assets, buying the most expensive hookers, booze, and tobacco I can find on the market, loading it all up into a cheap industrial, and self-destructing at the wormhole in Genesis.
It's either that or leaving it all in my hangar to rot.

Im distributing to no one for a few reasons: 1) I thought about giving away my accounts, but that will only encourage someone to use my millions of sp and pay for an account, so not a good idea
2) Giving away my ISK will have a similar effect
3) I'd rather tie up billions of ISK in offlined accounts and screw up CCP's economy in some small fashion than give it away.
4) Giving a newbie ISK doesnt teach them how to survive in EVE Online anyways.
Therefore it stays locked in my accounts, perpetually.
Also its fun when I get emails from CCP stating "you have X billions of isk in your account, you could start playing for free right now!"
To which I respond "Yes, yes indeeds i coulds, but has Hilmar stepped down yet as CEO?"

NO
paying by plex still means CCP get $15 per month. this is unacceptable. When the game goes f2p/p2w I'll come back and use EvE as a chat room.

Edited by: Silas Cooper on 30/06/2011 23:50:02 I'll convert all my assets into isk and then buy plex and let them rot. First account runs out in 6 days, this one has a just over a month to go. The fact that online numbers are still up doesn't mean people unsubbed or decided to stop using plex.
Also, how many of those online are the free 51 day old alts, with official full accounts (guess they were needed to make EVE look good for investors) CCP so conveniently introduced?
Lets see what the 2nd CSM dialog brings...

Edited by: ACY GTMI on 01/07/2011 10:43:49 I worked for the stufz I have. No plexes and no one gave me anything whether I needed it or not.
There are a few players in the game that I respect because I know them, and know that they did the same thing. I'm arranging for my stufz to be 'chained' in the hopes that all are as honest as I think.
The last one in the game should be fairly well off . . . if they stay.
As to the leeches? No. Not even on a good day would I give you so much as a repackaged rookie ship.

Edited by: Yarrrrrhh on 01/07/2011 10:49:35 If you really want to hurt CCP then liquidate your assets, buy Plex with them and then spread them to as many people as possible who you know will use it for their accounts and who you know would have otherwise bought game time with credit cards, paypal etc.
That way CCP doesn't get any _real_ cash in the next months from them which will hurt their cash flow.
It's what I did.

If I were extremely wealthy ingame (many billions) this is what I would be doing.
I will be spending my last days in EVE liquidating all of my assets and turning them into PVP ships, which I will then go out and PVP with until I have nothing left \o/ ________________
